Register for the Ceremony

You can register online for the Spring UGIS Commencement Ceremony if you graduated in prior fall semester or plan to graduate in spring, summer, or fall of the same year. To register, please click visit the For Graduates page to fill out your respective major Exit Survey and Commencement Registration Form. Please note that the exit survey portion is confidential. Spring 2025 commencement registration information will be updated in February 2025.

Participation in this or any commencement ceremony does not guarantee that you will officially graduate and receive your Bachelor’s degree.

Please note that participating in the 2024* commencement ceremony or “walking” is not the same as graduating (the official awarding of your B.A. degree). To graduate, your Expected Graduation Term (EGT) as listed on your Cal Central dashboard will need to be Fall 2023, Spring 2024, or Summer 2024, AND you will need to have completed all graduation requirements (university, college, campus, and major). Please check your Academic Progress Report (APR) on your Cal Central Dashboard and meet with your major advisor to be sure that you will have completed ALL requirements by the time you graduate. Note that you may participate in the ceremony on May 14th, yet not officially graduate till the end of the summer or fall semesters of 2024.

*2025 UGIS Commencement updates and eligible EGTs will be updated in February 2025.
