#Slovakia and #China strengthening Cooperation for #green and #sustainable future.   Denisa Saková, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic, and Ladislav Kamenicky, Minister of Finance visited Gotion Inc. in Hefei, China.    The delegation, which also included representatives from GIB Energy and InoBat, visited Gotion Inc. Battery Validation Center, Gotion VW Unified Cell plant and had a fruitful discussion on the #firstbatterygigafactory in Šurany, Slovakia, showcasing Gotion Inc.’s advanced capabilities in #batteryresearch, #development, and #manufacturing that can enrich industrial capabilities of Slovakia.   Deputy Prime Minister Saková emphasized the full support of the Slovak government for the GIB Energy battery gigafactory project, highlighting its potential as a successful example of Sino-Slovak cooperation.    Li Zhen, Chairman of Gotion High-tech, expressed gratitude for the visit and outlined the company's commitment to contributing to Slovakia's green energy transition.   Marian Bocek, co-founder and CEO of InoBat highlighted: "We are honored, that GIB Energy , as a joint venture between Gotion Inc. and InoBat is bringing a completely new future-oriented industry with high added value to Slovakia. InoBat co-Founder and CEO Marian Bocek took part in Serbia’s Critical Raw Materials Summit hosted by president Vucic and supported by the EU as part of the Critical Raw Material Act. Vikramadithya Gourineni „Vikram“, Executive Director of AR&M joins InoBat’s Board as Director. He brings extensive expertise and leadership to InoBat, significantly contributing to our strategic growth and innovation in the battery industry. GIB ACHIEVES SIGNIFICANT INCENTIVES PACKAGE FROM THE SLOVAK GOVERNMENT Today marks a significant accomplishment for #GIB Energy X, a joint venture between GOTION HIGH-TECH and InoBat. #GIB has signed an Investment Agreement with the Slovak government for the development of the first LFP #battery #gigafactory in Slovakia. The #gigafactory will be located in Šurany, total planned capacity is projected to reach up to 40 GWh, and the first phase, committed under the current Investment Agreement, is 20 GWh with a Commercial Operations Date (COD) set for 2026. Phase 1 will span over one hundred hectares and will employ more than a thousand workers. Construction is scheduled to commence at the end of 2024. Gotion-InoBat Batteries (GIB) hosted Kolawole Owodunni, Chief Investment Officer of the National Sovereign investment Authority (NSIA) of Nigeria, and Yusuf Umar Chief Executive Officer of RIPLE the wholly owned subsidiary of NSIA. Today InoBat R&D and pilot production site in Voderady opened its doors to local community representatives of Surany.   We were happy to present InoBat and our achievements done in less than 5 years, make introduction to #battery #R&D and #manufacturing and showing our guests InoBat #pilotmanufacturing line and #laboratories.   Together with #GIB team and colleagues from MH Invest we opened a space for open discussion in relation to #gigafactory project in Surany.   In this way we have already created a symbolic bridge between Voderady and Surany, maintaining open and engaging #dialogue with #local communities.   Both InoBat and #GIB are committed to be good citizens, actively listening caring and creating #sharedvalue for all.   We thank all our guests for visiting us and looking forward for further opportunities to meet and discuss.   #inobat #gib #communities #batteries #innovation #sustainability #future
