For Researchers

The WSGC provides funding for college and university faculty research initiatives in aerospace-related STEM fields. We currently offer two funding streams to build and expand research initiatives on affiliate campuses. Be sure to also check out our Faculty Resources for all of our Higher Education funding programs. 

Research Infrastructure
The Research Infrastructure Program (RIP) is designed to provide support to faculty and research staff from WSGC universities and colleges seeking to initiate a new research program, and from WSGC industrial affiliates to establish a space-related research program. The awards provide faculty and research staff support for a variety of activities related to developing space science, aerospace, and space-related research infrastructure. Research Seed
The Research Seed Program is designed to provide support to faculty and research staff from WSGC universities and colleges seeking to initiate a new space-related research program. The Research Seed Program emphasizes different capacity building opportunities each year. Click here form more information and to apply to the RSP.
