Who Is Favoured To Win the NBA Championship?

Boston Celtics NBA Championship Odds +300

The Celtics signed Tatum to a five-year, $314 million extension, the largest deal in NBA history.

They also signed Derrick White to a four-year, $125.9 million contract extension.

Boston will be dangerous next season, with Tatum, Jaylen Brown, White, Jrue Holiday, and Kristaps Porziņģis rounding out their core.

Denver Nuggets NBA Championship Odds +750

The Denver Nuggets lost Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in free agency, a pivotal piece to their championship hopes.

They’ll still be in the mix with Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray in the fold.

Philadelphia 76ers NBA Championship Odds +800

George signed a four-year, $212 million deal with the Sixers, as they hope his scoring presence and perimeter and on-ball defence will take pressure off Joel Embiid on both sides of the floor.

They also signed Tyrese Maxey to a five-year, $204 million extension and Kelly Oubre Jr. to a two-year, $16.3 million deal.

Philadelphia moves from +1400 to +800 to win the NBA Championship

Oklahoma City Thunder NBA Championship Odds +900

The Oklahoma City Thunder signed Isaiah Hartenstein to a three-year, $87 million deal, adding some much-needed size.

With the addition of Alex Caruso, this team’s newfound depth alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren, and Jalen Williams makes the Western Conference’s top seed last season much stronger.

New York Knicks NBA Championship Odds +900

The New York Knicks acquired Mikal Bridges in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets and re-signed OG Anunoby to a five-year, $212.5 million deal to shore up their wing depth.

At full strength, this team can trot out a rotation featuring Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle, Bridges, Anunoby, Josh Hart, Donte DiVincenzo, and Mitchell Robinson, which has the potential to be scary on both sides of the floor.

The Knicks have the highest ticket and handle percentages to win the Eastern Conference at BetMGM.

Minnesota Timberwolves NBA Championship Odds +900

The addition of Rob Dillingham to a core of Anthony Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert, Jaden McDaniels, Mike Conley, and Naz Reid will have the Minnesota Timberwolves in business next season.

Dallas Mavericks NBA Championship Odds +1100

The Dallas Mavericks signed Klay Thompson to a three-year, $50 million deal.

The Mavs don’t run the ball movement-heavy offence the Splash Brother is accustomed to, but he should still get plenty of looks with Luka Dončić and Kyrie Irving commanding a ton of attention, especially on isolation sets.

The loss of Derrick Jones Jr. will sting, but signing Naji Marshall, who brings a similar skill set, to a three-year, $27 million deal could end up being a bargain.

Los Angeles Lakers NBA Championship Odds +3000

LeBron James signed a two-year, $104 million contract to stay with the Los Angeles Lakers. The deal includes a no-trade clause and a player option.

They also signed Bronny James to a four-year, $7.9 million deal.

Golden State Warriors NBA Championship Odds +3500

The Golden State Warriors signed De’Anthony Melton to a one-year, $12.8 million deal and Kyle Anderson to a three-year, $27 million contract.

A core of Stephen Curry, Jonathan Kuminga, Draymond Green, and Brandin Podziemski could have them in the play-in picture, but probably not in true championship contention.
