Many WNBA teams play in the same arena as the NBA team in their city, but the games are a completely different experience.

Discover which arenas provide the best architecture, atmosphere, and overall best fan experience, which could end up helping teams improve their WNBA odds to win a championship.

Ranking WNBA Arenas

1. Seattle Storm — Climate Pledge Arena

Climate Pledge Arena features two big jumbotrons and great food options that are locally sourced and made fresh on the spot, including nachos, popcorn chicken, and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options.

Located within feet of the Space Needle, the arena offers free public transit to and from Seattle Storm games.

2. New York Liberty — Barclays Center

The Barclays Center features a beautiful oculus outside, theatrical lighting inside, and a ton of food options reminiscent of a Brooklyn neighbourhood, such as pizza, hot dogs, nachos, and sandwiches.

New York Liberty fans are very passionate and friendly, and the arena is easy to access via public transportation.

3. Minnesota Lynx — Target Center

The Target Center has a nicely designed and lit exterior and is conveniently located to numerous shops and restaurants. All concession stands are cashless.

Fans often come out to support the Minnesota Lynx and bring a ton of energy.

4. Indiana Fever — Gainbridge Fieldhouse

Gainbridge Fieldhouse has a huge scoreboard and great sightlines, including open views from the concourse.

Kilroy’s Bar and Grill and Brother’s Bar & Grill are two of several great spots to grab food and drinks nearby before and after a game.

5. Los Angeles Sparks — Crypto.com Arena

Los Angeles Sparks fans are passionate, and the in-game entertainment, including two dance teams, keeps fans engaged during timeouts.

Plenty of dining and entertainment options and statues of legends, including Kobe Bryant, surround the arena. Tickets are often cheap and easy to buy last minute.

6. Phoenix Mercury — Footprint Center

The Footprint Center is a beautifully lit arena for some hoops in the desert. All seats have decent sightlines.

The arena has Benihana, Wetzel’s Pretzels, and pizza among the food options and there are plenty of other dining options nearby.

7. Connecticut Sun — Mohegan Sun Arena

Blaze, the Connecticut Sun’s mascot, greets fans as they enter Mohegan Sun Arena.

The interior of the arena is reminiscent of the casino and has an appearance similar to the local forest.

The in-game entertainment during timeouts, includes dance teams, contests, and t-shirt tosses.

8. Las Vegas Aces — Michelob Ultra Arena

Michelob Ultra Arena is located directly on the Las Vegas strip at the Mandalay Resort and Casino.

It’s conveniently located for fans who want to check out the Aces’ basketball odds to win a championship at BetMGM’s online sportsbook.

9. Chicago Sky — Wintrust Arena

Wintrust Arena features a shiny steel and glass exterior, a huge scoreboard, and great sightlines inside. The seats are also comfortable with plenty of legroom.

The concessions aren’t anything out of the ordinary – chicken tenders, popcorn, hot dogs, etc.

10. Atlanta Dream — Gateway Center Arena

Gateway Center Arena seats just 3,500 fans, which helps keep the fans connected. There are plenty of fan participation games during timeouts.

Food options include sandwiches, burgers, pizza, pretzels, etc.

11. Washington Mystics — Entertainment and Sports Arena

The Entertainment and Sports Arena features two video boards, a panda mascot named Pax, and passionate fans.

Food options include crab cake sandwiches.

12. Dallas Wings — College Park Center

College Park Center features a nice sound system, passionate Dallas Wings fans, and 13 different types of burgers, in addition to a variety of BBQ favourites.
