Odds to Win WNBA Rookie of the Year

Caitlin Clark Rookie of the Year Odds -700

Clark is making an immediate impact in the WNBA, as she already has the most double-doubles by a rookie guard in league history.

The Indiana Fever guard is also the first rookie to average at least 16 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists per game in any four-game stretch and the fastest player in WNBA history to record 250-plus points and 100-plus assists.

The Iowa product rose to prominence after an unforgettable college career, as she set the NCAA’s all-time scoring record for both men’s and women’s. Her Steph Curry-like range also significantly boosted her popularity among fans all across the globe.

As these numbers suggest, Clark is well on her way to being a top MVP candidate at the BetMGM online sportsbook for years to come.

Angel Reese Rookie of the Year Odds +350

Reese bested Clark in their most recent matchup 88-87 on June 23, as she put up 25 points on 8-of-12 shooting and 16 rebounds, becoming the first rookie since A’ja Wilson in 2018 to record a 25+ point and 15+ rebound performance. She has also posted a double-double in 11 straight games, a WNBA record.

The LSU product is a self-described dog, but it’s justified. She willed her team from down 14 points in that game by dominating inside the paint and creating transition offence by getting out ahead of the break. She also never shies away from contact and has been the emotional leader for the Chicago Sky all season.

Reese’s WNBA odds of winning Rookie of the Year moved from +600 to +350 given her recent performances, and there’s a great chance she’d be the leading candidate to win the award in any other season.

Kamilla Cardoso Rookie of the Year Odds +15000

Kamilla Cardoso is averaging 8.3 points on 44.4% shooting and 7.8 rebounds per game on the season. She has also grabbed at least 10 boards in five of her last six games.

Rickea Jackson Rookie of the Year Odds +15000

Rickea Jackson is averaging 12.0 points on 49.3% shooting in her last seven games, displaying some promise for the Los Angeles Sparks.

Aaliyah Edwards Rookie of the Year Odds +20000

Aaliyah Edwards averaged 12.7 points on 63% shooting, 9.3 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game in six games from June 4-14, proving her worth as one of the key building blocks for the Washington Mystics.
