  • The total prize purse for Wimbledon 2024 is a staggering $65 million.
  • The men’s and women’s singles champions will each receive $3.4 million.

Wimbledon is arguably the most famous tennis tournament in the world, so it’s no surprise that the prize purse in London is obscenely high.

Tens of millions of Euros are paid out annually to competitors, from tournament winners all the way down to one-and-done teenagers who lose in their first qualifying match.

This year, the Wimbledon event has expanded the total purse by more than 10%. The total prize money handed out has now hit $65 million, falling just a tad shy of last year’s record-setting U.S. Open prize pool.

Last year’s singles champions, Carlos Alcaraz and Marketa Vondrousova, will both enter this year’s London draw with a head of steam after deep runs at Roland Garros.

In Alcaraz’s case, he won the French Open and seized the $2.5 million at the center of the 2024 French Open prize money pot.
