It's an end of an era in Golden State six NBA finals appearances, four championships, the 2016 game six in the Western conference finals.

Masterpiece was authored by Klay Thompson.

He leaves for Dallas, a team that just made an appearance in the NBA finals.

Klay Thompson will have his jersey retired.

He'll have a statue, he'll make the hall of fame, but he leaves behind, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green who are left to try to put the pieces together for the one time champion in 2022 for clay.

40% 3 point shooting is still on the menu despite the injuries, despite the erosion in this game.

And despite the fact that the Golden State Warriors did not offer him a contract extension headed into this season, the contract negotiations did not seem to go well and Klay Thompson had a lot of hurt feelings and a lot of suitors, Dallas wins out.

He'll play next to Kyrie Irving, he'll play next to Luka Donic.

Those are dudes he used to guard during his heyday for Dallas.

It's now a chance to beef up and head themselves into the season for another possible championship run.
