Paul Skeens has been named the starting pitcher for the National League in the All Star game and we are fine with it.

Very excited.

Uh This is something that we've been talking about for the past week.

And the fact they have announced this this far ahead of the game is uncommon in and of itself, Paul Skeens is uncommon.

This will be the first rookie to start the All Star game since Hideo Nomo in 1995.

I can't say I remember that because that was the year I was born.

So this is going to be a very, very special thing.

The fact that we get to watch Paul Skein's likely face Gunnar Henderson, Aaron Judge Juan Soto at the top of the lineup, uh is, is pretty cool and I think people are probably gonna tune in.

It's an exhibition.

I want to watch baseball go b OK. That's what this is going to be, this game used to matter.

And then the league realized that was stupid and so they got rid of it.

It is solely for the purpose of entertainment and there is nothing more entertaining in the game on a mound.

Right now than Paul Skeins good on MLB for making sure that this happened in the, the idea that Polskin somehow doesn't deserve this honor, in my opinion, is ludicrous.

Look at the numbers.

Yes, he has only started 11 games, but he has been the best pitcher in the league in those 11 starts.

This is not a handout.

He has earned every single bit of this and I cannot wait to watch him pitch on Tuesday night.
