West Ham United are one of the Premier League sides interested in defender Johan Vásquez, whose performances for Genoa have earned him a growing list of admirers.
That’s according to 365 scores, while TNT Sports Mexico report that there are two Premier League admirers for the defender.
First 365, who report that Vásquez is a ‘desired’ defender in Europe at this moment in time, with the 25-year-old being followed closely and a ‘real option’ for Inter Milan and West Ham.
Indeed, they’ve already held first contacts with the player’s entourage and Genoa to ask about a potential transfer. Vásquez, for his part, has given the green light to a move and making a ‘leap in quality’.
No formal offer has been made as yet but matters are expected to develop into something viable in the coming weeks.
The belief is that it won’t take long for official offers to arrive from either West Ham, Inter or the other unnamed suitor.
TNT Sports Mexico only back this up somewhat, stating that Inter Milan and two Premier League teams would be interested in Vásquez this summer.
Now it remains to be seen if they come up with a formal bid, and the name of the second English team is revealed at some point too.
