Last week was successful on the links with Robert MacIntyre coming through at 55-1 at the Genesis Scottish Open.

We nearly had a monster week, but Pierceson Coody was unable to close in Kentucky at the ISCO Championship after leading for three days, and Matthew Riedel came up one spot short on the Korn Ferry Tour.

This week, the final men's major championship of the year is here as Royal Troon hosts The 152nd Open Championship. Just like last week, there is also a second PGA Tour event as the Barracuda Championship will host many of the PGA Tour and DP World Tour players not in the field for the 2024 Open Championship.

Find my Global Golf Picks for the 2024 Open Championship and Barracuda Championship among the six golf tournaments below.

  • The Open Championship — PGA Tour, DP World Tour, LIV Golf
  • Barracuda Championship — PGA Tour
  • Dana Open — LPGA
  • Price Cutter Charity Championship — Korn Ferry Tour
  • Euram Bank Open — Challenge Tour
  • Dutch Ladies Open — Ladies European Tour

The Open Championship — PGA Tour, DP World Tour & LIV Golf

Best Bet: Sungjae Im +6500 (bet365)

It was pretty calm for me heading into The Open Championship on futures bets. I don't really have much on the books, just a 100-1 Joaquin Niemann bet from the winter.

So that leaves me with a few more options heading into a major championship week than normal.

Sungjae Im's price at 65-1 odds stood out the most to me. His form has been great leading into The Open Championship.

He went back home and won in South Korea in late April, and that seemed to jump-start his season. Since then, he's finished 12th or better in six of eight starts.

He's missed the cut in each major championship this year, but Royal Troon is a little different than those other golf courses. Royal Troon emphasizes precision and catching a hot putter. That fits Im's style far more than the U.S majors where bombing the ball off the tee is a key factor.

Other Open Championship Bets:

  • Patrick Cantlay 45-1
  • Tony Finau 50-1
  • Corey Conners 100-1
  • Louis Oosthuizen 110-1

Barracuda Championship — PGA Tour

Best Bet: Nick Dunlap +5000 (BetRivers)

It's another week with an alternate field on the PGA Tour. We saw the importance of it last week with five guys making a playoff all looking for their first career victory as Harry Hall won in dramatic fashion.

My favorite bet for the Barracuda Championship is on a golfer who has already found that first PGA Tour win in Nick Dunlap. With the stableford scoring this week, birdies take on an added importance. Dunlap ranks inside the top 15 on Tour this year in Birdie or Better Percentage.

He's also the only guy up there in Birdie or Better Percentage outside the top 150 in Greens in Regulation, so when he hits the green, he's been making putts for birdies.

He's got the win at The American Express this year and some strong results in the lead up here with a 12th at the Memorial and a 10th at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. The iron play was sharp those weeks, so hopefully that portion of the game will show up this week.

Other Barracuda Championship Bets:

  • Mac Meissner 40-1
  • Rico Hoey 66-1
  • Andy Sullivan 150-1
  • Brandon Wu 150-1
  • Chez Reavie 175-1

Dana Open — LPGA

Best Bet: Grace Kim +4000 (bet365)

It's not a deep field on the LPGA this week, which is no surprise as I'm sure the travel from France to Ohio for the best players wouldn't be much fun.

I'll go to the young Aussie here in Grace Kim. She's been inside the top five in two of her past four starts, and both of those fields were on the weaker side like this. She also made the cut in her other two starts in that timeframe, both at majors.

Kim was also 11th here in her debut at the Dana Open last year, and this course tends to have the same players pop up quite often.

Other Dana Open Bets:

  • Yu Jin Sung 55-1
  • Nataliya Guseva 125-1

Price Cutter Charity Championship — Korn Ferry Tour

Best Bet: Max McGreevy +3300 (bet365)

The Korn Ferry Tour heads to another birdie fest in Missouri this week. The last time the winner didn't break 20-under par at this event was in 2002.

I'm going to Max McGreevy here, and I'm surprised he's not among the favorites in the +2000 range. He won three weeks ago and has a second and a third in the past few months on the Korn Ferry Tour as he has already clinched a return to the PGA Tour next season. He also won on this course back in 2020.

The form hasn't been consistent, but when the course has fit his eye, he's popped regardless this year. This place highlights the wedge game and his putter, both of which are among his strong suits.

Other Price Cutter Charity Championship Bets:

  • Kristoffer Ventura 60-1
  • Danny Walker 110-1
  • Cooper Dossey 200-1

Euram Bank Open — Challenge Tour

Best Bet: Pierre Pineau +4000 (BetRivers)

The Challenge Tour is back after a couple weeks off as is heads to the mountains of Austria. The Euram Bank Open has been kind in the past by producing Casey Jarvis and Joel Stalter as winners for me in the past four seasons.

It's a very tight, accuracy-driven course that leads to similar players at the top of the leaderboard each season.

I'll go to Pierre Pineau here for about the fifth time this season. The form slowed down over the past month, but he's still making cuts comfortably.

He's also played well here in the past, finishing second in 2022.

Other Euram Bank Open Bets:

  • Oliver Lindell 66-1
  • Marc Hammer 66-1
  • Javier Sainz 80-1
  • Rikard Karlberg 80-1
  • Benjamin Rusch 125-1

Dutch Ladies Open — Ladies European Tour

Bets Bet: Moa Folke +4000 (bet365)

We wrap up the week with the Ladies Euro Tour in the Netherlands.

There isn't much at the top of the board that drew my attention this week. Most of the field didn't qualify for the Evian Championship a week ago, so everyone should be fresh.

I went with Moa Folke because she's been in a decent run of form. She was 20th in London two weeks ago in a stronger field and has a couple other top-10 finishes in the past couple months.

Other Dutch Ladies Open Bets:

  • Rosie Davies 80-1
  • Hannah Screen 80-1
  • Alexandra Swayne 125-1
  • Hannah Burke 140-1
  • Lauren Holmey 1000-1
  • Nikki Hofstede 1000-1
