Superior Court Process for Handling Petition Challenges through July 18, 2024

  • Once a case has been initiated, the Clerk of the Superior Court notifies Civil Administration via email of the filing.
  • The judicial assistant for the Civil Presiding Judge will notify the assigned Judge of assignment.
  • The Assigned Judge will issue the order to appear.
  • Filing party may email [email protected] for information regarding judicial assignment.


Superior Court Process for Handling Petition Challenges filed on July 19th and 22nd, 2024

  • Once a case has been initiated, the Clerk of the Superior Court notifies Civil Administration via email.
  • Clerk of the Superior Court will provide the filing party with instructions for how to request a copy of the order to appear via email.
  • The Election Judge, Hon. John Blanchard, will issue an order to appear, including the Assigned Judge’s Court Connect information (tiny URL and conference phone/ID), exhibit instructions, a status conference date, and a trial date.
  • The Election Judge judicial assistant will email the order to appear to the filing party for service.
  • The Election Judge judicial assistant will email the Assigned Judge the petition and a copy of the order to appear.

NOTE: Election challenges may NOT be e-filed. See Arizona Supreme Court Administrative Order No. 2021-30.
