Australian MMA star Casey O'Neill celebrated her victory at UFC 305 by impersonating Rachael 'Raygun' Gunn.

The Aussie Olympic breakdancer lost all three of her heats at the Paris Games, with her unorthodox routine - which included her mimicking a kangaroo and using the 'sprinkler' dance move - turning her into a viral meme.

On Saturday night, O'Neill snapped a two-fight losing streak to record a much-needed unanimous decision victory over Luana Santos in Perth, Australia.

After getting her hand raised, the UFC flyweight celebrated her win by copying some of Raygun's dance moves in the centre of the Octagon.

When the win was announced O'Neill burst into tears before falling to the canvas, rolling onto her side and reaching for her toes to mimic one of Gunn's most famous moves.

She then stood up, raised one leg and leaned back with her arms up to her chest to perform 'the kangaroo'.

A few minutes later when she addressed the assembled media during her post-fight press conference, O'Neill said of her routine: "I give that a 10.

"I think I did better than she [Gunn] did in the Olympics.

"I think if they do bring it [breaking] back for 2028 I might need to take an MMA hiatus and go get a gold medal."

Breakdancing won't be a part of the next Olympics.

The sport debuted in the French capital this year after being included in the 2018 Youth Olympics.

However, it was never due to return for the 2028 Los Angeles Games.

Events are continuously added and removed from the Olympic program to keep things fresh.

Cricket and lacrosse have recently been dropped and reinstated so there is a chance breakdancing could return in the years to come.

The World DanceSport Federation said it's "working hard to ensure" that breakdancing is included at the 2032 Brisbane Games.

The five new events that will be included at the Los Angeles Games are cricket, flag football, lacrosse, squash and baseball/softball.

Lacrosse hasn't been in the Olympics since 1908, while cricket has been out since 1900.
