The Taxpayer Information Packet is a helpful guide for understanding the Department of Taxation and the taxes it manages. This packet contains up-to-date information about Nevada’s taxes and how they might impact your business.

This document allows  any individual, corporation, firm, organization, or partnership you designate to inspect and/or receive your confidential information for the type of tax and the years or periods you list on this Form 8821. Please read the instructions starting page 3 of this document for further details.

Form 8821 does not authorize your appointee to advocate your position with respect to federal tax laws; to execute waivers, consents, or closing agreements; or to otherwise represent you. If you want to authorize an individual to represent you, use Form 2848, Power of Attorney and Declaration of Representative which can be found on the IRS website.
