I feel LA anon’s pain. When I saw the announcement come through on Patreon, I was so excited. Then, in the 1.5 seconds it took for the page to load: “oh. Oh no. The book comes out in October. The tour is gonna be in October!” Dear reader, this anon, who lives in a tour city and even suggested the host bookstore, will be in London the entire month of October. For exciting things, I grant you, but this reality has still generated much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Sarah!!!!! Congratulations on the book tour!!! I’m so thrilled for you!!! I have to share something funny — so for the last year I’ve been working a job that required me to do a lot of driving on Ventura Blvd, aka The Worst Street Known To Man. It is a street in a constant state of traffic jam, making left turns off of it is a nightmare because there are not enough green arrows so you basically have to wait for the light to turn yellow and hope no one t-bones you (this almost happened to me on multiple occasions), and parking anywhere for anyplace on it is always a nightmare if they don’t have their own designated lot. That job ended earlier this summer and I now have a new one, and on my last day I was so excited that it would be my last time driving Ventura Blvd ever again because nothing could ever make me do it again. So I just started laughing when I realized Annabelle’s Book Club (your closest stop to me) is on Ventura Blvd 😂 you and Taylor are probably the only two things that could get me genuinely excited to drive Ventura Blvd again. I will definitely definitely definitely be there, Ventura Blvd and all ❤️ congratulations again!!!
