Sarah I wanted to say congratulations on your book tour! The moment you posted it I knew it would be an instant sellout 🫶 I don't want to call it a meteoric rise, but...

Thank you so much friend - that really means a lot. I truly went into the tour announcement thinking, “I really hope people want to come … It would be so cool if like … 30 people came. That would be wild if even 30 people showed up. Or people who weren’t related to me or who I didn’t beg to come. That would be insane.”

So to say that I’m overwhelmed and shocked and awed and all the things is a massive, massive, massive understatement. I’m so humbled and grateful and boggled. Truly.

Hello I’m excited and happy for your book tour. Are you someone who documents things as it’s happening or Do you keep the camera phone in your bag? I am always conflicted as to enjoy the moment or record for posterity. I guess what I am asking, are you going to vlog? Is that even a word anymore idk

Hi friend! Tysm that means a lot.

I am notoriously horrible at this sort of thing. Content creation is not my strong suit (or any suit) but I think I will try to vlog 😉 (absolutely still a word for me) if people might be interested in that sort of silliness from me.

Hi Sarah, I'm very excited about your book tour! (and surprised not to see any other questions/comments about it on your timeline so far)

A couple questions for you (if you know the answers. "More info coming later" is also a valid answer), if we've already pre-ordered your book, is it okay to just bring that copy to the event? Or do we have to purchase it at the local store?

And do you know if we'll have to RVSP or register or anything for the events?

Hi hi friend! TYSM! I’m so excited for it.

  • Yes, you can bring a pre-ordered book! But/and it is always nice to support local bookstores and if you can swing it, buying once there is super (also I’ve heard from so many people who are buying TSS as a Christmas present which makes me SOB because what do you mean copies of TSS will be wrapped in paper and put under trees for people to joyfully open on December 25 WHAT DO YOU MEANNNNNNNNNN)
  • RSVP is required for all events except Vancouver and Brooklyn (D.C. is coming!)
  • I also have a FAQ page for this here

Sarah help I've been monitoring the KC event because I want to go SO badly but it's a 3 hour drive. Tickets say only a few are left so I want to RSVP but don't want to take the ticket from someone else if I can't make the trip work!!

Hi! GAH. First of all tysm for even considering coming out to a TSS book tour stop - that means so much. Esp for a drive that long! OMG.

That is so tough I’m sorry. I saw that it’s said ‘few tickets left’ but maybe if you reserve and can’t make it you can tradesy? Happy to facilitate / post about it closer to if you need to swap!
