About
An enthusiastic quality professional with a successful career, I possess a unique set of skills that allow me to meet and exceed expectations when it comes to maintaining quality of services. I am accustomed to planning and executing robust quality strategies and establishing high-level standards that yield bottom-line outcomes.
Here are the areas where I really excel at:
✰ Strategic Quality Planning
✰ Continuous Process Improvement
✰ Risk Management
✰ Problem Resolution
✰ Team Leadership & Direction
✰ Safety Assurance
✰ Cost Mitigation
✰ Quality Accreditation
✰ Best Clinical Standards
Using a leadership style to build high-performance teams comes naturally to me. My passion for team development stems from the fact that I always focus on giving my 100%, and also allowing my team to do the same. I am an innovative professional and I become even more unique if I have a supportive team around me.
As a Quality Risk Patient Safety Manager, I have honed my management skills which allowed me to oversee multimillion-dollar budgets, execute international accreditation efforts, and implement system-wide improvement initiatives. Moreover, I am the one who others call when they’re unable to resolve critical issues with traditional methods.
My record of success also includes smooth implementation of quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management programs, while ensuring maximum effectiveness. I enjoy making new relationships across the workplace. On a daily basis, I aim to communicate with cross-functional teams as well as internal and external stakeholders to deliver on shared goals.

Your team is feeling undervalued. How can you show them the appreciation they deserve?
Great points Sabeena. I have also found that most employees want to be and feel acknowledged. Showing them that you see them and acknowledge their contribution helps to boost morale and improve commitment to the vision.

Here's how you can enhance quality assurance practices with employee feedback.
I agree ensuring the voice of customer in quality assurance is one of the fundamental tenets of success. Internal customers such as, frontline teams usually have practical solutions, and have experience removing low lying barriers. Infusing their perspectives into improvement helps to drive ownership and growth. It is also important to ensure closed loop communication. Management teams can provide feedback to the teams participating in pulse surveys such as: outcome of the survey, input that aligns with the organization’s vision for quality, and how their contribution will be incorporated into the new/ existing, product/ service or experience. Consistently fanning the flame to improve.

Here's how you can secure a competitive salary in Quality Assurance without prior industry experience.
I agree networking is very important in the Quality world. The sharing of improvement can help resolve common issues and influence the development of your product/ service. There are several networking opportunities when you attend conferences, take courses, join groups and associations like ASQ, IHI or local communities that drive Quality. I would also suggest industry hopping, get engaged with quality people and systems outside of your field to learn more about the use of Quality tools and techniques and outcomes beyond your natural habitat.

Here's how you can secure a competitive salary in Quality Assurance without prior industry experience.
I agree that some ways to secure a competitive salary in QA is to build a good foundation in Quality by completing relevant certifications in the area you would like to advance in. In addition, I’ve found doing research and reading quality improvement papers help to see how Quality tools are used in various fields, industries and projects. Improvement can happen anywhere, networking and joining Quality improvement groups/ communities also help to build competence.
