The Thai Aerospace Industries (TAI) has officially been recognized as the ICAO Regional Training Centre of Excellence (IRTCE) as the most qualified, this time in the training of Instructors. The award was handed over to Chris Atswalongkorn during the Certificate Ceremony at the ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium 2024 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The process to become ICAO RTCE encompassed various extensive ICAO audit programs, starting with the nomination as TRAINAIR Plus Associate Member in April 2023, TAI was assessed by ICAO’s Global Aviation Training Office according to a set of high-level criteria. “Today’s ICAO RTCE recognition for the authorized fields of Air Transport, Air Safety and Safety Management, Training Competency Development, and Aviation Management tops off TAI’s continued hard work and dedication in the enhancement of civil aviation training, We are keen to continue to offer guidance and advice on the development and improvement of the ICAO Trainair Plus Programme, as well as develop ICAO Standardized Training Packages.”

On Saturday, July 20, 2024, Ms. Saruta Sariman, Director of Training and Standards at Thai Aerospace Industries (TAI), along with executives and staff, attended the opening ceremony of Thailand Education Expo 2024 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok. Mr. Permsak Suttipabhawon, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, presided over the ceremony. TAI Academy, in collaboration with the Lifelong Learning Innovation Institute of Rajamangala University of Technology, participated in the exhibition to provide guidance on the International Airline Business program. Thailand Education Expo 2024 is a national educational guidance fair for junior and senior high school students interested in pursuing higher education. It provides an excellent opportunity for educational institutions to promote their quality programs and new lifelong learning courses to the target audience. This year, the event attracted over 1,200 students.
