The star amused her fans when she jokingly "twerked" for the crowd while fixing the loose lace of her shoe.

This comes after it was confirmed that Adeloe got engaged to her sports agent boyfriend, Rich Paul.

Despite suffering a wardrobe gaffe and torrential rain that sought to stop the show, the "Hello" hitmaker managed to bring the house down in Munich with an unforgettable performance.

Adele, who is currently on a string of shows in the purpose-built, 80,000-seat outdoor arena in Munich, left concertgoers thrilled as she playfully twerked while trying to get her laces done.

The incident came after she took caution to swap her heels for a pair of white sneakers as it poured heavily on stage. However, her laces would not stay put; they came off undone, forcing her to pause proceedings to attend to them.

A video making the rounds on X captured the moment she bent down and moved her hips, leaving fans in a rousing cheer.

In his reaction to the concert, Adele's fiancé, Rich Paul, took to X to declare, "The show must go on!"

It was a full circle moment for fans as they witnessed her perform her hit song "Set Fire To The Rain" during a downpour.

As she sang to the crowd, fire sparks could be seen coming out from the spark machines, prompting many fans to take to X to share how the incredible scenes perfectly matched the music.

"Adele performing Set Fire to the Rain while LITERALLY setting fire to the rain will go down in history books," a fan wrote, adding a thunderstorm and fire emoji.

"Adele literally setting fire to the rain is monumental," a second fan wrote, while another added, "Goosebumps! Look at how happy she is and free on the whirl."

"What a performance. That was, and luckily, the rain did not stop at that moment but waited a while," a fourth person noted.

The Singer Faced Some Backlash From Fans

Adele's Munich residency faced some backlash due to fans complaining that they could not see the stage.

Many fans branded the show an "absolute joke" after paying up to £350 for tickets to be close to her in the seated pit of the Munich Messe arena. However, they had to stand on their seats to see the stage as people in front of them blocked their view by standing.

The singer will perform on August 16, 23, 24, and 30 before wrapping up her Munich performances on 31.

Adele Plans To Take A 'Big Break' From Music

During an interview with German Outlet ZDF, Adele revealed that she's taking a break from music after she completes her "Weekends with Adele" Las Vegas residency, which is scheduled to end in November.

She said, "I don't have any plans for new music at all. I want a big break after this, and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while. I don't like being famous. I love that I get to make music all the time."

Adele started her Vegas residency in November 2022 with a performance that went viral on social media. She's since taken the Colosseum at Caesars Palace by storm with each performance.

The final show of the residency is scheduled for November 23.

Adele's recent show came after she confirmed that she was "getting married" to her partner Paul.

The singer was performing in front of a 75,000 mammoth crowd at the purpose-built stadium when she read out a placard that said, "Will you marry me?"

Adele responded, "I can't marry you because I'm already getting married!"

According to The Sun, the basketball agent recently got on his knees to pop the question to her during a trip to her hometown, Tottenham in North London, to which she immediately said "Yes," and then FaceTimed her friends and family to share the good news.

A source told the news outlet that the Klutch Sports Group founder "planned for the proposal to be in her hometown and gave her an incredible four-carat diamond ring," adding that they "celebrated with champagne at Chiltern Firehouse the following evening."

The source continued, "Adele thinks it's hilarious that fans reckon they're already married. It's been an in-joke. Now everyone is joking that she could make the ultimate wedding singer."

According to the news outlet, friends expect them to hold a lavish wedding ceremony towards the end of next year.
