A former Clemson wide receiver has found a new home in the NFL.

Deon Cain has signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills, the team announced Tuesday.

A 2018 sixth-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts, Cain’s most recent NFL regular season playing time came in 2020 when he was a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Along with the Colts and Steelers, he has spent time with the Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles in his NFL career. He has appeared in 15 career games, including six starts, and has caught nine passes for 124 yards.

The Tampa, Fla., native had 130 receptions for 2,040 yards and 20 touchdowns over 42 games (14 starts) in his career at Clemson from 2015-17.

Cain, who earned USFL Championship Game MVP honors with the Birmingham Stallions back in July 2023 after catching three touchdowns, tallied 436 receiving yards, three receiving touchdowns and 726 all-purpose yards for the Stallions this year.

Cain will wear No. 14 with the Bills.
