Despite the buzz, there have been no confirmed sightings of Barron or his family near any New York campuses. Neither Barron nor his mother, Melania Trump, has been seen at the city’s top universities, which include Columbia and Cornell. Recent social media posts claimed Barron was spotted at Cornell, but The Cornelia Daily Sun has debunked these claims, saying he does not appear in any student directories.
A shift from NYU?
According to reports from April, Barron’s top choice was New York University, conveniently located near Trump Tower. However, a change in plans seems likely. Trump has previously cited campus unrest related to the recent Hamas terror attacks on Israel as a factor influencing Barron's decision. On Fox and Friends, Trump remarked, "You look at a college and see riots on campus, and you might reconsider. There are plenty of colleges that don't riot."

While Trump has been tight-lipped about Barron’s exact academic destination, he has been vocal about his son's impressive academic profile. In June, Trump praised Barron’s achievements on Fox and Friends Weekend, highlighting his academic prowess and popularity among colleges.
