How can you ensure successful product sales?
Consider taking the “Mom test” approach. This is a famous book by Rob Fitzpatrick, filled with practical tips and fun stories about validating your product ideas. Many people recommend it, but it will only work for you when you test the approach on real people. Good luck!

Your sales team is struggling to find new leads. What are the best prospecting tools to help them?
Choose prospecting tools that won't hurt your reputation and your domain. Too many tools out there multiplying and automating repetitive efforts with little regard to security. Whatever channel you end up choosing based on your needs, make sure your provider cares about long-term consequences for your business. For example, check the deliverability options with email prospecting tools. If you automate LinkedIn outreach, make sure they operate within guidelines to avoid getting banned. What tools and technologies can you use to optimize your product demonstrations?
This is a crucial moment here that I found a "make-or-break a deal". So, 1. Obvious, but I never end the call w/t agreeing on the next meeting: we put a placeholder in our calendars on the spot. 2. I strongly advise my prospects to help me build an Action Plan (aka MAP) so we agree on the purchasing and onboarding steps well in advance (without being overly strict with timelines). My goal here is to build an accountability framework for both sides. 3. Instead of nagging emailing, I now like to create digital spaces for each of my customers that contains the MAP above + allows me to add relevant material, news and updates. In this way, we are not going back-and-forth email threads, but collaborate in one space. Deal saver!

What are the most important trends in sales automation technology for the next few years?
Though AI can do all of those things *possibly* well, it doesn't necessarily contribute to developing the innate ability of reps to sell, meaning: a) understanding the underlying customer issues; b) own opinion on what could actually bridge the gap and solve them (preferably the one they sell, but not necessarily); and c) people skills needed to effectively communicate and negotiate during purchasing process. As the new generation of sellers is entering the workforce, and there are a lot who struggle in tough economy, I'd be cautious about fully adopting AI for all those tasks, but instead focus on upskilling and guiding reps with the help of AI.
