【Press Release|Shizen Energy and Dynax celebrate commencement of solar facility in Tomakomai industrial area in Hokkaido】 Dynax Corporation and Shizen Energy celebrated the commencement of a 3.85 MWp(DC) solar power plant that will provide direct power supply to the Dynax Tomakomai Plant using an off-site PPA model with private lines based on a corporate PPA signed in 2022. The ceremony was attended by Tomakomai Mayor Hirofumi Iwakura, Representative Director Yasuhiro Tsuji of Tomatoh Inc., the company that owns the land on which the facilities were installed, and members of Dynax and Shizen Energy. Construction of this facility began in November 2022 on 62,621㎡ of land leased from Tomatoh in the Rinku Kashiwabara district in the eastern Tomakomai of Hokkaido, the largest industrial area in Japan. One of the features of the facility is that while the power source is installed off-site, a private line is installed in the area, enabling direct supply from the power generation facility to the Dynax Tomakomai Plant (Tomakomai City, Hokkaido). This facility was successfully completed in September 2023 and started operation on October 1, 2023. In this project, Shizen Energy will utilize the PPA model and provide services such as the installation of solar power generation facilities, supply and demand management, and operation and maintenance of the facilities. The electricity generated by this facility will be consumed 100% in-house at the Dynax Tomakomai Plant, contributing to CO2 and energy conservation. #ShizenEnergy #Dynax #RenewableEnergy #Renewables

As we approach the end of 2023, I want to reflect on the year FersiSolar S.L. has had and recognize the achievements we have made together. FersiSolar S.L. began the year in an embryonic state with a clear vision: to help the industry in decarbonization using 100% renewable technology, mainly CSP for production processes. Thanks to our personal references and a climate of trust created with former clients, we have been expanding, having confirmation from some clients and the appearance of others. A particular thanks to Negev Energy - Operation & Maintenance for the trust shown in such an important asset as the Ashalim plant. FersiSolar S.L.'s mission is to Provide renewable source solutions to clients in the medium large scale industrial field. Advise our client during the development, engineering, construction and O&M of their renewable energy facilities. Help the industry to decarbonize its facilities as its main objective. At FersiSolar S.L. we have dedicated substantial efforts to improve our services throughout the year. This has allowed us to advise on European solar heat projects, financed directly by the European Commission. In addition, we have gained trust from other clients in several countries, such as Spain, China and the United Arab Emirates. In October we moved to have more space to develop our activities and welcome potential clients as they deserve. In addition, we are ending the year as members of Protermosolar, the most prestigious Spanish concentration solar association in the world. As we head into 2024, we are all excited to build on the momentum we have gained in 2023, especially in the second half of the year, we already have announcements to share with you in the first months of the year. Our objective will be to continue strengthening ourselves to be a reference in the energy transition, helping to achieve total independence from the consumption of fossil fuel to the industrial sector and offering 100% renewable solutions thanks to the experience combined with the commitment of its team. 🌞 Exciting news in the solar world! 🌞 I am excited to share with you the latest milestone in the renewable energy industry. Portugal's Santiago do Cacém, near the city of Sines, is to become home to the largest photovoltaic power plant in Europe. The "System Fernando Pessoa" project, a joint venture between Spanish energy company Iberdrola and Prosolia Energy, has received the green light from the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA) and is expected to be operational by 2025. With a capacity of a whopping 1.2 GW, this solar farm will be among the five largest in the world when completed. It is expected to generate electricity for approximately 430,000 households annually. But it doesn't end there. The "Fernando Pessoa System" does not only focus on the production of clean energy, but also emphasizes the importance of additional environmental and social benefits. Iberdrola, the driving force behind this ambitious project, plans to create a sustainable ecosystem within the solar farm. They incorporate grazing sheep and introduce beehives to increase biodiversity and increase crop yields in the surrounding farmland. This approach sets a new standard for the European PV industry, combining clean energy goals with tangible environmental and social contributions. "Iberdrola's solar farm is a game-changer, combining Europe's clean energy ambitions with significant environmental and social benefits," said Ignacio Galán, CEO of Iberdrola, highlighting the project's far-reaching impact beyond renewable energy generation. The effort is part of a wider trend of giant solar projects spreading across Europe. Iberdrola, already a leader in the renewable energy sector, boasts the largest photovoltaic park on the continent: the Francisco Pizarro solar plant in Extremadura, western Spain, with a capacity of 590 MW. This massive solar farm in Portugal, with its remarkable capacity of 1,200 MWp, is set to surpass even that and rival the output of a nuclear power plant such as Temelín in the Czech Republic. In addition, other countries in Europe are also gearing up for major solar energy initiatives. In Romania, Resolv Energy, with Czech roots, plans to start construction of a 1 GW solar power plant in June 2023. France is preparing a 1.1 GW project, and German firm Profine Energy is targeting a floating solar power plant in Bulgaria, ranging from 500 MW up to 1.5 GW. Meanwhile, the largest solar project under development is a 1.35 GW plant in Turkey's Konya province. The future of renewable energy looks brighter than ever and projects like the "Fernando Pessoa System" are examples of the unstoppable growth of the sector. As we move closer to a sustainable and clean energy future, these advances pave the way for a greener and more prosperous world. #RenewableEnergy #CleanEnergy #SolarPower #Sustainability #Environment #Greenfuture

Exciting news in the world of solar energy! Chinese photovoltaics have shattered a new record, unlocking previously unattainable levels of power and shaking up the panel market. The phenomenal breakthrough comes from none other than Huasun, a Chinese corporation known for pushing the boundaries of innovation. According to a report by Gram w Zielone, Huasun has developed a photovoltaic module with an astounding power output of 744.43 Wp, achieving an efficiency level of 23.96%. In simpler terms, this means that the solar technology can convert nearly 24% of sunlight into electrical energy. To put the record into perspective, currently popular photovoltaic panels in the market offer around 250 Wp with an efficiency of approximately 15%. While there are panels available with efficiencies above 20%, the Huasun record demonstrates that we are approaching the limits preventing us from surpassing the 30% efficiency barrier. It is worth noting that Wp, or watopic, is a unit that measures the maximum energy production of a solar panel. Although a panel with a power output of 744.43 Wp can theoretically produce that much energy, such conditions are typically constrained to laboratory settings. Therefore, the percentage efficiency of the panels is also mentioned alongside the power output. The news has been backed by TÜV SÜD, a German organization responsible for product testing and certification. Notably, Huasun estimates that with mass production, the module efficiency could potentially reach 26.2%. Furthermore, Huasun offers a powerful photovoltaic solution with a capacity of 720 Wp. As if that weren't impressive enough, the corporation provides a 15-year warranty on the module and a 30-year warranty on its performance, projected to retain about 88% of its initial efficiency. With aspirations for further milestones, Huasun aims to unveil another record-breaking achievement soon. Each breakthrough in renewable energy is invaluable, and we await further innovations in this field.
