Fun and Freedom Youth Sports to host designer purse bash

A designer purse bash to benefit Fun and Freedom Youth Sports will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Acme Club, 230 Herron Ave., Cheswick.

Admission is $40 and includes entry into 13 ticket drawings, refreshments, use of the photo booth and an entry into the door prize drawing. There will be side raffles, a silent auction, mystery wristlets and a 50/50. For tickets, visit fun-and-freedom-inc.square.site or call 724-274-7773.

Feb. 4: The Outdoor Discovery Center at Crooked Creek, 142 Kerr Road, will offer a free program for middle and high school students, “Animal Allies,” from 1 to 3 p.m. at the center. Proceeds will be used for the medical bills of Armstrong County Sheriff police dog Blak who had surgery recently. Blak has served the county for the past seven years.
