Everything rises and falls on Leadership. This has been developed over the past 28 years through self-discipline, education, and management of diverse teams in various industries, and through many projects and business related activities.
The skills possessed, include aviation management, project management, facility management, and information systems management. As such, descriptions such as Entrepreneur, Innovator, Strategist, Visionary, Motivator, Mentor, and Leader, are used by those in authority, my peers, and my subordinates to highlight my traits.
To all things there must be a standard for comparison. Therefore each skill is matched to a certification - from an Msc Aviation Management, Bsc Information Systems, PMP, TMA, Deltares, FIDIC, to soft skills in Office Applications, and Train the Trainer courses.
My education is purposefully coupled with experience. This allowed me to manage civil construction, building and enterprise facility maintenance, drainage and irrigation works, aerodrome, aviation, and enterprise Information Technology projects (including Safe City) for various clients over the past 25 years, with capital expenditures as high as $580 Million.
I am an CAA & FAA Certificated Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot with an Instrument Rating. Resourceful and proactive, I combine effective communication skills with product knowledge to identify opportunities and deliver a satisfactory outcome for stakeholders whilst managing quality and risks, monitoring safety and capital management.
