Prime Video has clicked “continue” on Upload: The satirical sci-comedy, starring Robbie Amell, has been renewed for Season 4 which will be its last, TVLine has learned.
“When I conceived Upload many years ago, I had the story arced out over four seasons,” Creator, Writer and Executive Producer Greg Daniels said in a statement, “so I am thrilled to make the ending the fans deserve and the characters and creative team have been working towards.”
The show’s Season 3 finale, which debuted Nov. 10, 2023, concluded with a courtroom victory for the families of the Freeyond victims, but all the incriminating intel Aleesha snagged off Karina’s computer about Horizen remained sealed up as part of the settlement. Plus, both Nathans remained the property of Horizen.
The company then rebranded as Betta and went about destroying all the illegal, duplicate uploads — including Nathan. While the Original Nathan was taken into custody, the newly engaged Backup Copy Nathan was hunted down. In the end, one Nathan video called Nora and Ingrid to reveal that the other was a goner, prompting Nora to exclaim, “Which one are you?!”
On the relationship front, Ingrid reacted badly to Backup Nathan’s proposal before realizing she was pushing him away because of her own insecurities and happily accepted his proposal. Meanwhile, Original Nathan was also planning to pop the question to Nora in Montreal before he got taken away. And Aleesha spontaneously planted a kiss on Luke while celebrating their successful covert operation to get Karina’s laptop.
In a post mortem Q&A, showrunner Greg Daniels told TVLine that the Nora/Nathan/Ingrid/Backup Nathan love square was “getting pretty comfortable and stable,” and that the finale cliffhanger “will shake things up.”
In addition to Amell, the cast includes Andy Allo (Chicago Fire), Kevin Bigley (Sirens), Allegra Edwards (Briarpatch), Zainab Johnson (American Koko), Owen Daniels (Space Force), Andrea Rosen (Episodes) and Josh Banday.

Cool, too bad to see it go.
So glad to hear. I thought it was conceived for 5 seasons, but if everything gets wrapped up in 4 I am happy about that. I hope it is a longer 4th season. 12-16 episodes???
Looking forward to it. Hopefully in 2025. It has a lot of post production.
How many episodes will Season 4 be? Hopefully a one hour series finale. Sorry to see it end. Based on the last few seasons I am guessing it won’t air until late 2025, about 2 years after season 3.
Show we t downhill really quick and incorporated a lot of pretty blunt communist propaganda and taking weird shots at capitalism.
Love this show! So glad it’s coming back. The cast and writers have outdone themselves. Thanks for making us laugh!
it’s really a great and refreshing show…. I hope Greg Daniels can create something else like that, whimsical, smart, witty, fun…. He’s really one of the greatest writers ever.
So glad they’ll get to wrap things up properly. I know it doesn’t pull Reacher numbers so I was worried they’d just let it go on a cliffhanger.
Phew that’s a relief, looking forward to it
I literally screamed when I read this!! I am so excited, but 4 just doesn’t feel like enough!! 😍
