48 Hours: NCIS: Season One Ratings

48 Hours: NCIS TV show on CBS: season 1 ratings (canceled or season 2?)

Although its parent series is currently in its 29th season, will CBS find the same sort of success with its new offering, 48 Hours: NCIS? The true crime program has the potential to attract fans of not just the 48 Hours TV show, but also the Tiffany Network’s scripted NCIS TV series franchise. Will 48 Hours: NCIS be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned.

The 48 Hours: NCIS TV show centers on true crime cases handled by the real U.S. Naval Criminal Investigative Service. Rocky Carroll narrates the CBS TV news magazine, which features actual NCIS agents sharing the investigation techniques they use in cases including murder, fraud, and terrorism. The series delves into the sorts of real cases that have inspired the NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, and NCIS: New Orleans — ones the agents will never forget.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

6/14 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.

Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.

Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
