GUS was started by a group of young material scientists with an objective to develop novel materials for energy-related applications. The sudden boom of EV markets and the trend of switching to renewable energy made us step up a notch expanding to become a lithium-ion battery manufacturing company in the year 2017. At GUS, we fabricate pouch cells, suitable for EVs and household energy storage systems (ESS) apart from producing customized battery packs, modules and a complete setup of ESS depending on the customers' demands. We provide a wholesome, flexible and environmentally friendly one-stop solution concerning the energy storage.

    🌍「#減碳見學 #邁向淨零」 系列活動 由中小企業處指導、工研院執行的「減碳見學 邁向淨零」系列活動,昨日在 #格斯科技 圓滿舉行。出席貴賓包括工研院產服中心業務經理李湘平、國立聯合大學電機工程學系陳美玲教授、台灣電池協會秘書長高志勇、朝陽科技大學環境工程與管理系王文裕教授,以及多家企業代表。 本次活動格斯科技出席人員包含管理處副處長陳立偉,並由格斯科技永續發展部經理陳正富主講,深入分享格斯科技在邁向淨零目標過程中的減碳策略與實踐經驗。與會企業代表在活動中展開熱烈提問及討論,積極交流在減碳實務和產品製程淨零挑戰上的經驗與洞見。透過此次寶貴的交流,與會者彼此分享各自領域的專業見解,互相借鏡成功經驗,共同邁向 #淨零碳排 的目標。💡🌱 🌍 Decarbonization Insights: Moving Towards Net Zero The "Decarbonization Insights: Moving Towards Net Zero" series event, guided by the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, and executed by the Industrial Technology Research Institute(ITRI), successfully concluded yesterday at #GUSTechnology. Esteemed guests included Li Hsiang-Ping, Business Manager at ITRI's Commercialization and Industry Services Center; Professor Chen, Mei-Ling from the Department of Electrical Engineering at National United University; Kao,Chih-Yung, Secretary General of the Taiwan Battery Association; Professor Wang Wen-Yu from the Department of Environmental Engineering & Management at Chaoyang University of Technology, and representatives from various companies. GUS Technology was represented by Deputy Director Nelson Chen and featured a keynote presentation by Gary Chen, Manager of GUS Technology's Sustainability Development Department. Gary Chen provided in-depth insights into GUS Technology's carbon reduction strategies and practical experiences in achieving net-zero goals. The attending company representatives actively engaged in discussions, exchanging insights and experiences on decarbonization practices and the challenges of achieving net-zero in product manufacturing. This valuable exchange of professional perspectives allowed participants to learn from each other's successes as we collectively strive towards the goal of #NetZeroEmissions.💡🌱

    昨日,我們非常榮幸接待 #桃園市政府經濟發展局 張誠局長蒞臨 #格斯科技 ,就我們的電池芯技術進行了深入的交流,張局長也介紹了桃市府經發局現行的住商型儲能設備補助政策,在資源整合及政策推動方面的最新進展。我們也更進一步探討了格斯的 #LTO電芯 應用在儲能系統具備的優勢,以及格斯如何在兵家必爭的電池產業中發展出差異化策略,開拓我們的藍海市場。🔋 🌊 此外,雙方也針對桃園市相關產業的發展展開深入交流,期望透過政府的鏈結,促進在地產業的異業結合,進一步提升產業競爭力,激發桃園在地產業的發展動能! 🚀 Yesterday, we were honored to welcome Director Chang Cheng of the Department of Economic Development, Taoyuan to #GUSTechnology. We engaged in an in-depth discussion about our battery cell technologies. Director Chang also introduced the current subsidy policies for residential and commercial energy storage systems and shared the latest advancements in resource integration and policy promotion. We further explored the advantages of GUS's #LTObattery cells in energy storage systems and discussed how we are developing differentiated strategies to carve out our own niche in the highly competitive battery industry. 🔋 🌊 Additionally, we exchanged ideas on the development of related industries in Taoyuan, with the hope that government support will foster cross-industry collaboration, enhance local industry competitiveness, and stimulate the growth of Taoyuan's industries! 🚀

    #GUSTechnology Chairman Chung-Chieh Chang 張忠傑 collaborates with scholars, publishing a paper titled "Screening of Pd-Co-Ni Catalyst Arrays by Scanning Electrochemical Microscopy and Characterization of the Potential Catalyst for Formic Acid Oxidation" in the 162nd volume of the Journal of the Taiwan Institute of Chemical Engineers (JTICE). 🔍 This research explores catalyst design for formic acid oxidation reactions in direct formic acid fuel cells (DFAFCs), highlighting the superior efficiency and stability of the Pd2Co6Ni2 catalyst in enhancing formic acid oxidation reactions. This discovery holds great potential for advancing DFAFC technology. ✨Highlights •Optimal catalysts for the oxidation of formic acid were screened using scanning electrochemical Microscopy. •Within the Pd-Co-Ni ternary catalyst array, the Pd2Co6Ni2 catalyst exhibits the highest catalytic activity. •The Pd2Co6Ni2 catalyst displays low overpotential and high catalytic activity towards the oxidation of formic acid. •Compared to the Pd electrode, the Pd2Co6Ni2 electrode presents a lower interfacial electron transfer resistance. 📘 Read the full paper here: https://lnkd.in/gSDnJTZA

    Knowledge is power, and the journey to acquiring it begins with reading. In our commitment to promoting reading among the youth, #GUSTechnology donated brand-new books to the children at Lohas Children's Home in the first half of this year. By allowing the children to select their own books, we aimed to help them dive into the vast ocean of literature. Additionally, our dedicated volunteer team joined them for reading sessions and discussions, enhancing the joy of reading.
