Last June 12-14, Startup Island TAIWAN brought the Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation, one unicorn, 4 NEXT BIGs, and 9 growth-stage Taiwanese startups in AI, IoT, FinTech, and MarTech field to South Korea ⚙️ This was marked as the largest startup visit from Taiwan in recent years.
The trip offered collaborative opportunities between Taiwan and South Korea's tech and startup sectors! ✨

On June 12, Startup Island TAIWAN explored Goyang City, Korea's Film and entertainment city, with Studio 76 and Amazing Talker, setting the scene for partnerships in digital media and tech.
The next day, we met with Korean AI startups at Pangyo Startup Campus, Korea's Silicon Valley, hosted by Gyeonggido Business & Science Accelerator, fostering highly efficient collaboration discussions! Later in the afternoon, 20 startups pitched their solutions at Rock n' Taipei at TIPS TOWN.
On June 14th, startups visited Seoul Business Agency business support institution for small and medium sized enterprises. Finally, at NextRise in Seoul, one of South Korea's largest innovation exhibitions, Taiwanese startups met Korean VCs and enterprises, showcasing Taiwan's strengths in AI, IoT, FinTech, and MarTech.

This trip affirmed the eagerness of both Taiwanese and Korean stakeholders to collaborate, laying the groundwork for future partnerships to drive tech advancements and market expansion.
