The past two weeks have been exceptionally impactful, thanks to our friends from the Kufundisha Pamoja program. Kufundisha Pamoja (which means "teaching together" in Kiswahili) is a partnership program between schools in the United States and St Jude’s in Tanzania. Through this program, teachers from both sides exchange their skills, knowledge, and experience in pedagogy by running professional development programs, team-building training, co-teaching, and more. It’s been a wonderful experience learning from each other and gaining fresh perspectives in supporting students. Celebrating a new academic record at St Jude’s! The long-awaited Form 6 results just came out, and St Jude’s has set a new record for academic achievement! These are our best-ever national examination results, and our campuses have been buzzing with joy and pride for our Form 6 graduates. Form 6 is the final year of secondary school education in Tanzania, known as Advanced Level (A-Level), which comprises Forms 5 and 6. All students must sit for a series of examinations organised by the Tanzanian government at the end of their A Level studies. We couldn’t be more proud of our students. A HUGE congratulations to our students, teachers, supporters, parents, and all the supporting staff for their unwavering support and commitment.

Next Stage: Giving Back A few weeks ago, we celebrated the graduation of our Form 6 students from secondary school. Today, many of our graduates have returned to St Jude's for Work Readiness Training, marking the beginning of their journey to give back. The Work Readiness Training is part of the Beyond St Jude's Scholarship Program (BSJP). Graduates spend a semester or year to volunteering as teachers in government schools or various placements within St Jude's. This training equips them with essential skills and practical tips to support them on their volunteering journey.
