    This homepage redesign added +23.46% in conversion rate for our client. Here’s our entire process behind it: Step 1 - Identify the problem → 2 out of 10 products generate 90% of the revenue → The old homepage didn't explain the product and benefits well Step 2 - Find the solution We wanted to remove the unnecessary step from the homepage to the collection page. So we made multiple changes: 1. Wrote a clear headline explaining the value prop 2. Included two hero products above the fold 3. Kept the collection page button Step 3 - Test Here’s what we saw in post-analysis: → The bounce rate decreased → Conversion rate and AOV increased → The PDP click-through rate increased Step 4: Measure the Results → 23.46% increase in homepage conversion rate → 27.77% increase in revenue per homepage visitor → Approximately $8,615 per month in additional revenue P.S. this redesign doesn't align with what CRO guys usually say about the above the fold.     This A/B test added +$12,778/month for our client. Here’s what we did: 1. Added bundle as a variant option 2. Showed how many players can play in a single game and bundle Why did we do that? - Most visitors were not aware of bundles - Multiple previous tests and surveys showed us that visitors are willing to buy bundles if they are aware of them - We assumed that the reason for that was the ability to play the game with more than 4 people Result: Revenue Per Visitor increased by 17% (AOV and CVR increased) Here’s why we think it worked: - Visitors were aware of the bundle - They’ve been provided with a choice - They saw the crucial information about the number of players for each Have you tried upselling bundles on your PDP?     This A/B test got us a 3.34% RPV increase and 2 valuable learnings. Here's how: We work with a brand that sells single products and bundles. Recently, we conducted 2 tests for them: - Test 1: Loser - Test 2: Winner (on the image) Here's what we did: Test 1: Added single products on the homepage For some reason, they only had bundles here. We added a single products slider above bundles to boost CVR. Result: CVR stays the same, RPV dropped by 4%. Test 2: Moved bundles to the top of PLP We knew that bundles could perform better. So we made them more noticeable for PLP visitors. Result: 2% CVR and 3.34% RPV increase. Learnings: - Visitors often prefer bundles (better deals) over single products - We should test promoting bundles more on the website and ads --- Hope you found this valuable.     We’ve added +$8k/month for the DTC brand with this simple A/B test Here’s how: 1. Changed 1 word in guarantee text in the cart 2. Increased the font size by 2px and made it bolder It seemed to us that visitors often missed the guarantee. Because the target audience is - Grandparents 55+. So we assumed that bigger text would work better for them. Result: reduced cart abandonment by 10%, increased conversion rate.     What is Hypothesis in CRO and why it’s important: Hypothesis = testable guess for improving website conversions E.G. If we change X, we believe Y will happen A good hypothesis is always based on data and can be measured Here’s a framework we use to craft a hypothesis: 1. Because we saw [data] 2. We believe that [change] will cause [effect] 3. We expect to see [metric change] Example: 1. Because we saw a high bounce rate on the product page for mobile users 2. We believe that optimizing above the fold of this page will keep them more engaged 3. We expect to see a decrease in bounce rate and an increase in conversion rates for mobile users Why does it matter? Using this structured approach, you can VERIFY or FALSIFY your theory → In the first case, you will create a positive long-term impact → In the second one, you can get valuable data and learnings In both cases, you win You don't want to test random things one by one By embracing this systematic approach, you will make better decisions that will bring better results --- → CRO is the easiest way to increase revenue without spending more on Ads.     Here’s how I would improve the YoungLA cart: 1. Add a progress bar in addition to the Free shipping progress label to capture attention better 2. Show an upsell section with complementary products to possibly increase the AOV. Great combination with a free shipping bar 3. Add a note about shipping and taxes to reduce the anxiety about additional charges 4. Put payment badges below CTA to increase trust and show how customers can pay Your cart is a great place to upsell and promote complementary products. And remember, your cart is possibly one of the places where your customers drop off.     Here’s my concept product page redesign for Skin Design London What was my goal? - Make it look more clear and add some crucial UX elements Here’s what I did: 1. Made the header and announcement bar less cluttered → Moved the currency select together with the account icon to the sidebar 2. Added media navigation → The brand has great imagery. Thumbnails would help to navigate more easily between them 3. Rearranged the product info → Added a benefit in the subtitle → Added bottle size select: they currently have a “Travel Size” separate product. I decided to merge them for easier navigation into one product 4. Made the CTA more prominent and easier to click 5. Added trust badges with brand USPs 6. Changed description tabs to dropdowns to open each of them effortlessly And that's it!
