Passionate about improving livelihoods of resource-poor farmers without compromising environmental integrity for sustainable development. 10 years of interactive working experience in small-holder farming communities of Sub-Saharan Africa with bias towards research in banana cropping systems. Key competences: 1) Agro-ecosystems research and training; 2) Farming systems analysis; 3) Developing agronomic solutions; 4) Multi-disciplinary stakeholder engagement; and 5) Designing, planning and implementation of R4D projects.
