Very exciting moment for 103 in 2024. In April to July this year we are partnering with the UN Global Compact Network UK for a 7 part webinar series to deep dive into what it takes for companies - large and small - to embark on a Net Zero Transformation journey. We will be joined by many of the best examples of leading companies globally, who will share their insights from transformational strategies on the ground. Across the course of the webinar series, we'll cover laying the foundations with setting up a transformation agenda, right through to unlocking finance, partnerships and advocacy. We'd love to see you on there - so if you are interested, please find out more and register, here: https://lnkd.in/dhTFbEpz Valentin Wiesner Mauro Silva Maya Færch Gemma John, PhD
📢NEW WEBINAR SERIES ANNOUNCEMENT! Many businesses have set targets and optimised the most obvious levers for a net zero transition. Despite this, there remains an intention-action gap, where the necessary pace of change can only be matched through deep and ambitious business model transformation. Our new seven-part ‘Net Zero Business Transformation’ webinar series, in partnership with 103 Ventures will provide practical guidance for sustainability professionals and business leaders, outlining the key steps involved in implementing a transformative agenda, whilst showcasing the opportunity that it presents for safeguarding commercial, environmental, and social outcomes through a changing economic landscape. Today we are excited to share the seventh of our thirteen intervention points in focus, as a result of our systems intervention point research in collaboration with ULI Europe: #07 Intervention Point: Net-zero targets for the built environment. This intervention point stands as a testament to our commitment to sustainable development within the built environment. Developing and aligning with accurate science-based targets for the built environment will enable the sector to decarbonise at pace, reducing its significant contributions to global carbon emissions. This deep dive series into the 13 most critical intervention points to help transition the built environment to net zero in Europe, were authored by Valentin Wiesner, our in-house specialist. Each intervention provides vital context and rationale for the intervention, what is happening right now, possible next steps and how to get involved. A big thanks to the team and technical advisors that made it happen Valentin Wiesner, Kate Wolfenden, Suzy Glass, Andrea Carpenter, Roland Hunziker, Luca De Giovanetti, Sarah Dominey MRICS, James Hooton Also tagging the leading organisations we have cited in these papers to showcase their work Science Based Targets initiative, Ramboll Management Consulting, World Economic Forum, Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GlobalABC), CRREM - Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor, World Green Building Council, WBCSD – World Business Council for Sustainable Development, WWF, International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), BUILDING RESEARCH ESTABLISHMENT LIMITED, Nabers Group For a deeper dive into any of these interventions, please visit https://lnkd.in/dd2dkXh5 or get in touch with the 103 team, via [email protected] Lewis Howard, James MacPherson, PhD, Gemma John, PhD, Maya Færch
