Hire ambition, higher expectations.

About us

By immersing ourselves within the culture of our clients we thoroughly grasp their recruitment requirements. This provides the foundation for us to scale their headcount and operations. In turn, we provide transformative career opportunities to individuals who demonstrate the potential to be high-performing within the most challenging and demanding business environments. Veering away from the traditional and outdated recruitment model, we are less concerned about a candidate’s previous experience on paper and instead hone in on the importance of mentality and cultural fit. As such, the candidates we propel demonstrate exceptional mindset, attitude, character and drive, while our clients are highly ambitious, high-growth companies ranging from scale-ups to FTSE organisations. We prioritise long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with both clients and candidates. To help execute this, we only work with the best.

‘Only 23% of the world’s workforce is engaged’   Achieving employee engagement falls on an organisation’s leadership but it’s also dependent on a business having employees with the right mindset.   A company’s employees make decisions and take actions on a daily basis that impact workforce and organisational effectiveness - an engaged workforce will make better decisions.   We recently spoke with ex-CEO of Sale Sharks, Sid Sutton, who described the challenge of trying to build an organisational culture in which every individual within a business is high-performing, which can be achieved by creating a ‘vibe’ on a daily basis that encourages growth mindset and expression. Research from Gallup shows that better employee engagement leads to higher quality work production, less absenteeism and ultimately more profits.   When 80% of a company’s profits are generated by high-performing employees, imagine the impact on the bottom line if that engagement stat was flipped on its head.

As the 30th Summer Olympic Games continues to provide memorable moments and Team GB eyes a record number of medals, we spoke to double Olympian Jack Green, OLY about what it takes to compete at the highest level. He told us about his experiences at London 2012 - falling in the 400m hurdles semis and then missing out on a relay medal by a fraction of a second - and how they were a trigger for mental health struggles. Jack competed for TeamGB again at the Rio 2016 Games before taking the decision to retire at 28. It was fascinating to hear about how the adversity he faced throughout his sporting career has helped propel him to the position he is in now - launching TASR (The Athlete Sustainability Report), which promotes athlete wellbeing both proactively and reactively. We explore the attributes that make someone high-performing, regardless of their life path, and love hearing about how people have overcome adversity to get to where they are. Keep an eye out for more on our conversation with Jack. #HighPerformance #Mindset #OvercomingAdversity #TeamGB #Paris2024 #OlympicGames

Frank Dick has made a career of taking individuals and putting them on podiums. Daly Thompson, Linford Christie, Colin Jackson, Boris Becker, Justin Rose - he’s worked with some of the greatest names in the world of sport - maximising their mindset and performance. It was an absolute pleasure to sit down with the UK Coaches Hall of Fame inductee recently to discuss the importance of individual accountability in performance, among other things. Key takeaway: The function of a coach, leader or manager is to create a process for the people they are developing to take ownership of, but individual performance can only be attributed to one person. Take selection out of the selectors’ hands. At Alignd, we’re on a mission to uncover what it means to be high-performing on an individual and organisational level. Take a look at our revamped website to get an understanding of what we do. https://alignd.co.uk/
