Creating inclusive workspaces means recognising that sensory experiences differ for everyone. For neurodivergent individuals, traditional office environments can often lead to sensory overload due to harsh lighting, constant noise, and complex patterns. To address these challenges, it’s important to incorporate quiet zones, acoustic pods, and adjustable lighting. These elements help create a balanced environment where all employees can focus and thrive. Want to learn more about how we design inclusive workspaces? Tenant-Ready™ spaces are revolutionising workspaces by offering a seamless, move-in-ready solution for companies looking for new spaces. Our Head of Design, Kayleigh Nobbs, shares insights on crafting these versatile and efficient environments for contemporary tenants. Welcoming reception areas, efficient workspaces with ergonomic sit-stand desks and flexible features such as agile furniture are essential. Alternative workspaces, including such as sofas with laptop trays or collaboration tables can support both teamwork and individual work, boosting productivity. Kayleigh emphasises, “There are often no design briefs in tenant-ready™ spaces, so we get to use our experience.” Learn more about our approach to creating tenant-ready™ spaces in our latest article:https://hubs.la/Q02M1dLY0 #WorkspaceDesign #TenantReady #SustainableDesign

Last week our team successfully installed a state-of-the-art Air Handling Unit (AHU) at Mosaic East. The newly installed AHU is a critical component of Mosaic East's advanced HVAC system. Designed to support the building's ambitious carbon reduction goals, this AHU will ensure optimal indoor air quality and energy efficiency. This will play a key role in helping the project achieve it’s targeted EPC B rating. Beyond construction, we’re collaborating with Feldberg Capital on a social value strategy aimed at improving youth employability. By partnering with Croydon Council, Croydon College and other local organisations, we want to inspire the next generation and provide valuable career insights. This milestone is a key step in creating a sustainable, community-focused development. Stay tuned for more updates! #AmbitProjects #Sustainability #Innovation #MosaicEast

At the heart of our Tenant-Ready™ spaces is a commitment to sustainability. In our latest article, Kayleigh Nobbs, our Head of Design, highlights the importance of this approach and the benefits of repurposing existing elements to reduce waste and provide cost savings for our clients. “If furniture or partitioning is left behind in the space, we either reuse it, adapt it, or donate it to ensure it continues to be of use. For example, could we reuse the glazing for other projects or incorporate the material into surface tops?" Last week, the Bloomsbury House team had the privilege of hosting the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity for an insightful and impactful visit as part of their "Help is Here" campaign. During the visit, we had two engaging talks. The first provided a comprehensive overview of the stigma surrounding mental health in construction, highlighting the crucial support available for emotional, physical, and financial issues affecting operatives in the industry and their families. The second was a powerful personal account from someone who had faced mental health challenges and found invaluable support through the charity. We are grateful to the Lighthouse Charity for their ongoing partnership and for shedding light on these important issues. Their helpline number, 0345 605 1956, is a vital resource for anyone in need. Thanks to FES, DECKBUILDERS (UK) LTD, Northvale Construction, and Netlink for joining us. It was an eye-opening experience for everyone on site, reinforcing the importance of mental health awareness and support within the construction industry. #MentalHealth #Construction #Support #LighthouseCharity #HelpIsHere #Ambit #BloomsburyHouse
