Rowing🚣 at the #Paris2024 #Olympics has just wrapped up with thrilling races featuring 502 athletes competing for 42 medals across 14 events! While the athletes' physical and mental fitness will determine the winners, technology plays a key role in having a fast boat. Oar design and materials choice is critical for more powerful and efficient rowing. I had the wonderful opportunity to attend IMechE Formula Student this year - both as a Design Judge for the competition, and helping out on our Ansys stand whenever I could! I've never been involved with Formula Student before, but definitely will repeat the experience if I can. It was wonderful to see the intelligence, passion and drive of all the students involved - the future of Engineering looks bright!

Have you ever wondered why flight attendants ask us to put our cell phones in airplane mode? It all comes down to something called electromagnetic interference or EMI. 📱 Watch #EverydayEngineering to learn how EMI can disrupt communication in an aircraft, and how engineers utilize simulation to study and minimize its impact. #LearnAnsys
