Together with Access Now and Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), we call on European Commissioner Thierry Breton to stop the political posturing – and focus on #DSA enforcement that respects human rights European Commissioner Thierry Breton wrote to X raising concerns about spread of ‘harmful content’ following riots in the UK and Elon Musk’s conversation with Donald Trump. His approach to enforcement risks turning DSA into a global censorship tool. “The DSA must not become a tool for politically-driven interventions. Its enforcement should be based on evidence and uphold users’ fundamental rights, including freedom of expression," said ARTICLE 19's Senior Director for Law and Policy Barbora Bukovská.
