The new store was officially opened by the Store Manager and local charity, Watford Foodbank, who marked the occasion with a ceremonial ribbon cut! ✂ Previously host to a John Lewis store, the unit has undergone an extensive internal and external refurbishment programme to provide customers with 21,092sqft. of our famous B&M store layout! 📍Atria Watford Shopping Centre, Watford #newstoreopening #teamcelebration #localcharity

Meet Luke, who has had an amazing journey with B&M (so far)!   Luke joined in 2013 as a Store Colleague in our Runcorn store, and over the past 11 years has rapidly progressed through the business to his current role as Area Manager!   Leading teams in several stores across the North-West, he’s held a range of management roles. Luke’s commitment and dedication to his role has seen some fantastic results.   Luke shared ‘I love working for a company with such great progression opportunities and support network’. We wish Luke the continued success in his B&M journey!

Meet Adam, who joined B&M in 2016 as a Warehouse Operative. Thanks to his dedication and hard work, Adam was quickly promoted to the role of On-Site Coordinator, supporting B&M's team managers with colleagues. In 2019, Adam's commitment earned him a new role at B&M, where he gained his Forklift Truck certification and completed RTITB Instructor training, allowing him to become a MHE Instructor. Adam is now our Lead Recruitment On boarder, playing a key role in ensuring new hires have an engaged and successful start to their B&M careers. After eight years with B&M, Adam is proud to have witnessed the company's growth and its strong investment in people. We are incredibly proud of Adam and wish him every continued success in his journey with us!

Meet Lisa, an HR Advisor at our Vault Distribution Centre, who has been with B&M for nearly 12 years! Throughout her career, she has held several positions across Distribution, Retail and Transport, including roles as a Personal Assistant to the Head of HR, an HR Administrator, and now an HR Advisor. To further her professional growth, Lisa is about to embark on a CIPD Level 5 course in Human Resources. When asked about her favourite aspect of working at B&M, Lisa said, "I love working with so many great people and I am proud to be part of a company that supports my personal and professional progression.” Good luck with your CIPD, Lisa. Our new store in Crystal Peaks, Sheffield is open! 🎉 Located in a former Wilko, the newly opened store offers a massive selection of groceries, furniture, health & beauty, alcohol, giftware, homeware and more!
