We're thrilled to announce our newest investments in Patchwork Hub, Ultra Education C.I.C and Kalda | The LGBTQIA+ mental wellbeing app through the #GrowthImpactFund. ▶️ 23% of the working-age population is disabled and many face barriers to employment. We've invested £250,000 in Patchwork Hub to help address this. ▶️ UItra Education uses entrepreneurship to create positive change in the lives of young people. Our investment of £300,000 will help them reach 900 more young people next year. ▶️ Stonewall found that 1 in 8 LGBTQ+ people aged 18-24 had attempted to end their life. We've invested £300,000 in Kalda, a mental health app designed to support LGBTQ+ individuals. By supporting these social purpose organisations, the fund will help create a fairer society by tackling accessibility, LGBTQ+ mental health, and youth outcomes across the UK. The Harleigh Road Dental Centre, which opened in May 2019, now offers exceptional care including one of the region's only bariatric chairs and wheelchair tippers. Thank you Rural Urban Synthesis Society (RUSS)! On Saturday, July 20 📅 we attended the launch event for RUSS’s 36 new homes in Ladywell, Lewisham. It was a fantastic celebration of community spirit and collaboration. RUSS is a volunteer-led Community Land Trust based in south London, founded in 2009 with the mission of creating sustainable neighbourhoods and genuinely affordable homes.
