🫛 We’ve teamed up with Sam Thompson, radio host and TV personality, to take you behind the scenes at our annual Birds Eye UK & IE Pea Harvest – the UK’s single biggest vining pea production operation! We’re so proud of the work that goes into producing the UK’s sweetest peas and it’s a military-like operation to get them picked to frozen in 2½ hours to lock in their nutrients and all important sweetness. Watch Sam have a go on one of our pea viners, become an honorary member of our dedicated Pea Tasting Panel, test out our tender-o-meter which helps us know the perfect time to harvest each field, and see our peas dance as they’re frozen! 🫛 https://lnkd.in/ebcsjbE7 #peaharvest #frozenfood #tenderometer #sweetestpeaguaranteed

Last week we put our Birds Eye UK & IE head office staff to work in supermarkets across the UK to support our on-pack activation in partnership with Hasbro. The promotion – "Buy 4 promotional Birds Eye packs and receive a FREE Hasbro boardgame" – is supported by a 360 marketing campaign and was created to help families spend more quality time together, encouraging them to ‘give staying in a spin’. To coincide with the start of the school holidays we organised a "feet on the street" initiative where 65 Birds Eye staff, from across multiple functions, teamed up in small groups and, headed up by representatives from our fantastic field sales partner Tactical Solutions - Certified B Corporation®, got to experience the campaign from our customers' and consumers' POV, helping re-stock shelves and seeing how the campaign really comes to life in store. Thank you to our retail partners and to all those involved in organising the week and in the campaign! …And now for something a little different! 😀 To celebrate the recent launch of our NEW Birds Eye Steamfresh Meals, we’ve teamed up with podcast host and etiquette expert William Hanson to help reignite the nation’s love for lunchtimes by showcasing the steamy, tasty convenience of our delicious vegetable-packed pasta meals-for-one through a trio of steamy stories… and of course to share his advice on the correct way one should eat our Mushroom Tagliatelle in a Creamy Sauce. 🍝 Head over to YouTube and our @BirdsEyeChannel to hear William narrate our Steamfresh Seductions series, which, just like our new Meals, will bring excitement to lunchtimes up and down the country! #GoodnessThatsSteamy! https://lnkd.in/e3iAAVMU Cirkle #innovation #frozenfood #lunchtimeinspiration

We’re delighted to have been shortlisted for the The Food and Drink Federation Awards' Brand Launch of the Year for our Aunt Bessie's Meat Joints! Gone are the days when cooking a roast dinner meant pre-planning, tiresome preparation, and lots of washing up. Our new range of meat joints can be cooked from frozen and come wrapped in bacon or include a seasoning for full on flavour, without any of the hassle. PLUS they can also be cooked in the air fryer for even quicker cooking times: so less time spent in the kitchen and more time to spent with loved ones! Aunt Bessie’s is the only frozen brand that can offer all the essential elements of the roast dinner and we’re proud to support our shoppers with our Iceland Foods £12 meal deal which includes an Aunt Bessie’s meat joint of your choice plus 3 sides or desserts, so that’s just £3 per head for 4 servings! #frozenfood #innovation #FDFAwards

Give ‘staying in a spin’! Today we’re launching one of our most exciting partnerships to date; this Summer we’re super excited to work with Hasbro across a plethora of our Birds Eye UK ranges to highlight the benefits and importance of spending quality time with friends and family. From recent research, we know that the majority of UK households recognise the importance of spending quality time together but in fact less than half the time we spend together is actually considered ‘quality’ time. With 89% of parents and guardians believing the dinner table is where the important conversations and interactions happen, we want to encourage more ‘table time’ these holidays, uniting households with great food and fun games. SO, when you buy 4 packs of qualifying Birds Eye packs this Summer you can get a FREE Hasbro board game worth up to £39*. Games in the deal include: CLUEDO, MONOPOLY, TRIVIAL PURSUIT: Family Edition, and more!* The campaign goes live TODAY across all UK retailers, on a wide range of Birds Eye packs🎉🎉the campaign will be supported with Radio, YouTube, out of home, social and as you can imagine some BIG instore plans! #GiveStayingInASpin #hotdeal #brandpartnerships *T&Cs apply https://lnkd.in/eMVHQm86 Research: OnePoll 1000 UK residents (June 2024) https://lnkd.in/e96SM8XB

Thank you Nomad Foods for an inspiring and informative panel discussion earlier this week as part of our celebration of #Pride Month. The Birds Eye UK & IE teams took a lot away from the day; alongside the fantastic speakers and engaging questions, it was a thought-provoking session which addressed how we can continue building on our commitment to support each other and to advocate for I&D in all we do.
For Pride Month 2024, Nomad Foods hosted a special panel discussion as part of our ongoing commitment to Inclusion & Diversity. Hosted by our Chief People Officer, Harriet Hounsell and in partnership with Karan Kapoor from Diversity & Inclusion consultancy, Vividh, we welcomed Helen Smith from HSBC, Deb Caldow (Ralls) from Diageo and Carly Arnold, our Portfolio Director at Nomad Foods, to discuss the topic of “supporting each other”. The discussion involved how we as an industry can play a more active role in fostering a safe and supportive environment, whilst also exploring any barriers we still face and reminding us why it’s important that we all advocate for I&D every day. It was a thoroughly engaging session from the audience and continues to support our commitment to I&D at Nomad Foods. #Pride #Inclusion #Diversity
