According to a recent USDA report, global #tablegrape production is forecast to increase for the fourth consecutive year, with a total of 27.3 million tons expected to be produced by the end of 2023. As growers around the world are beginning to grow higher-yielding varieties such as those produced by IFG, we can expect to see continued growth for the industry. With the world's population expected to grow by 2.2 billion people by 2050, one of the concepts at the forefront of food and agriculture production is producing more with less environmental impact.       One way in which IFG is helping to lead this charge is through superior genetics and the development of new cultivars. Through years of development, IFG is enabling growers to produce more fruit with the same or fewer resources than other legacy varieties.       Water consumption and the clearing of land for agriculture are two of the biggest environmental factors when producing agricultural products. With the development of IFG Rais-one, we've received great feedback from growers regarding the alleviation of time, energy, and money as a result of this variety's DOV capabilities. The combination of IFG quality #tablegrape breeding with the benefits of DOV raisin production "will allow growers to stay competitive in an ever-changing world market," offering higher quality products with a lower up-front cost for producers.
