We’re back from a fantastic weekend at CarFest 2024 as the headline sponsor. Putting the gig in Gigahub ™⚡We’re thrilled to share our electrifying new partnership with the NEC Group which will see Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena renamed as bp pulse LIVE from September. 🪩 We’re aiming to make the arena the top choice for #EV drivers attending events. With our NEC Gigahub ™ handily located nearby, concert-goers will be able to charge up at one of 180 charging bays either before or while they enjoy the show. This combination is music to our ears 🪇

👁️ bp pulse has acquired the freehold for one of the largest truck stops in Europe – Ashford International Truckstop in Kent! 🚛 The 21-acre site is located close to the UK’s busiest ferry port at Dover and the Eurotunnel, which 3.5 million heavy goods vehicles (HGV) drivers use to cross the Channel every year. 🔋As part of our drive to create a Europe-wide network of electric truck charging infrastructure, bp pulse plans to install a range of charging options suitable for on-the-go and overnight trucks, including state-of-the-art megawatt chargers, the first of which is expected to be installed from 2026. bp pulse will lease back the site to Ashford International Truckstop Ltd to operate the existing site facilities and secure parking. 🔗Once the EV chargers are installed on the acquired site, bp pulse is set to establish a link between the UK and its German truck charging corridor which already has 21 Aral pulse EV truck stops in operation. As fleets look to decarbonise by going electric, operators will need the right charging in the right locations.
