This strategic addition marks a significant milestone in our journey to bring fresh meals to even more furry friends 🐾 Ace's Pantry isn't just a building; it's a testament to our commitment to innovation, efficiency and squad’s dedication. With state-of-the-art facilities and new technology, we're set to enhance our operational capabilities and ensure your pets get their meals faster and fresher than ever before. Butternut has always been about more than just food; it’s about community, passion, and relentless dedication to our mission. Ace's Pantry is a symbol of our growth and our promise to continue serving our customers and their pets with the very best. One of the things that makes Butternut such a fantastic place to work is our incredible squad 💛 Every year, we come together in person at the 🎪Great Butternut Get Together🎪 to celebrate our achievements and create lasting memories 🎉 This year, we celebrated with food from some of our International locations including Belgian waffles 🇧🇪 , German Bratwurst 🇩🇪 , Polish cocktails 🇵🇱 and more. Our squad enjoyed a variety of activities, from pet illustrators and fairground games to a wandering band, fortune tellers, a magician, with the highlight of the day being our guest DJs. Watching our squad members take to the decks and show off their DJ skills was unforgettable 🎶 Our international teams were also treated to a behind-the-scenes tour at Rudie's Kitchen to see where the Butternut magic happens 🇬🇧 We’re already counting down the days to next year’s Great Butternut Get Together – WOOF! 🐾

A warm hello from the team behind the new Fresh cat food company, Marro! We believe cats deserve better, so we created better. Our collective of cat lovers (pictured below) first met at Marro’s sister company, Butternut Box | B Corp – famed for cooking Fresh food for dogs. The company always dreamt of doing the same for cats. So, after seeing the powerful health benefits and happiness (and tastiness) that a gently cooked, human-quality, Fresh diet brought dogs, we knew we had to make it happen. This ambition coupled with a lack of innovation and imagination across the category led to eight years of testing and perfecting to bring you the Fresh, tasty, meaty Marro of today. Why the name Marro, you ask? Easy, it’s the sound your cat makes when it wants something tasty.

Sustainability is part of who we are at Butternut 🌏 As a purpose driven company and a BCorp, we know that we can’t be the industry leaders in Fresh dog food without caring about our impact 💛 We also know that the only way to be successful for the long haul is by doing business in a way that considers the needs of all our partners - our customers, our squad, our communities, and of course, the environment 🌱 Whilst we hold our paws up and acknowledge this is not something that can be achieved overnight, we are incredibly proud of the progress we have made so far and are committed to continually finding ways to improve. In 2023 we: - Significantly reduced the carbon intensity of our meals - Introduced Paws Days and our first ever sabbatical policy to enhance the wellbeing, learning, and development of our squad 🐾 - Further supported our local communities, by increasing the number of our charity partners and the hours volunteered across all locations 💛 - Partnered with Sedex to help us manage and improve social and environmental sustainability in our supply chain and introduced two new lower carbon protein meals to our Fresh range Read all about it on our 2023 Annual Impact Report below 👇
