We are delighted to announce that our colleagues Gita Singham-Willis CMI ChMC has been appointed Trustee of Coram and Dominic Beard-Stevens LLB appointed as Trustee of Coram Voice.   Established as the Foundling Hospital in 1739, Coram is the UK's first and longest serving children's charity, who’s work enables better understanding of what works for children and young people and communicates with those in a position to make a real difference.    Using their insight and experience, Coram engages with government, local authorities, social workers, teachers, carers and families to help deliver better practice, systems and laws.    Coram’s mission to create positive change that lasts a lifetime for children and young people aligns with our focus on social value and we are very proud to work together to change lives, laws and systems to create better chances for children, now and forever - whether through legal support and advocacy, life skills, drama and reading programmes in schools, creative therapy and adoption services, or through training and knowledge-sharing with sector professionals. Yesterday, the team at Cadence Innova joined over 120 MCA members at The MCA’s 2024 Annual Industry Report launch, sharing and discussing the most comprehensive data and analysis on the consulting industry.   It was a truly insightful session with some key highlights including:   ⚪ UK consulting sector records double digit growth in 2023 driven by digital tech transformation, energy, and net zero specialist advice. ⚪ Exports are up and now represent 28% of overall revenue.  ⚪ More jobs are now created outside London than in the capital and number of regional offices are increasing. ⚪ More firms than ever are collecting diversity and inclusion statistics to help ensure that the workforce reflects the clients and society that they serve.  ⚪ An increase in female leaders with a 10% advance since 2018, as nearly a third of partners are now women (31%).   The report also includes insights from Gita Singham-Willis CMI ChMC , Founding Partner at Cadence Innova on growth across the public sector. The team at Cadence Innova had the privilege to attend Coram's summer showcase last week, an inspiring event where Dr Carol Homden CBE presented Coram’s achievements in the last year.
