“𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲?” Just over 6.5 years ago Edward and I had a chat and a simple “yeah” in reply to that question led us to building one of the best and fastest growing, multi-award winning Salesforce partners across the globe in Cloud Orca. We had no money, we had no Salesforce contacts but more importantly, we had no fear. We had trust, we had belief, we had friendship, we had each other and we worked hard, incredibly hard. Over 25 years ago, myself and Ed met at secondary school, and we’ve been through so much together. From school adventures to life’s ups and downs, wrestling (story for another time) and some great nights out too - we’ve shared countless memories. You’d think being in business together would make things different, for me, it wasn’t. It’s actually been pretty freaking great and brought us even closer. Sure, there were a few low’s - like any business, not knowing what was around the corner but the highs have been incredible. The work we’ve produced has been immense and the team we’ve built is first class, I really couldn’t be prouder of them. I’m thankful everyday for Cloud Orca, our staff, our customers and partners, and for having a friend like Ed. I don’t really know where I was going with this post to be honest but as we conclude on one journey, another exciting one for us both begins. I’m super excited to officially join the team at Cooper Parry today and look forward to continuing to take Cloud Orca even further. You often hear, “Don’t go into business with friends.” But I couldn’t disagree more. My journey has been incredible and here’s why: 🤝 Trust: Our friendship forms an unbreakable foundation. 💬 Communication: It’s also a lot easier when we know what the other is already thinking and to just be honest. 👀 Vision: Our personal bond translates into a shared vision and aligned goals for Cloud Orca. 🤙 Support : We support each other through every professional and personal challenge and, of course, victory. Having my best friend by my side in business has been one of the most rewarding experiences. Together, we’ve built something amazing, creating an awesome work environment full of trust and positivity. It’s a decision I’ll cherish forever, all starting with, “Do you trust me?” Here’s to many more years of success and friendship, Ed and I thank you for your support over the years. #BusinessPartners #FriendshipGoals #Trust #Entrepreneurship #Teamwork
