I'm delighted to announce that today we launched Viva Engage - live on a Teams call! What a moment for everyone involved in shaping our internal communication approach at the Scottish Funding Council. In the last couple of hours I've learned more about colleagues (and their pets!) than in the past 11 months. I've also met a lot more people who until today only existed on a pdf org chart. I have a deeper sense of belonging today than I did yesterday - and all because of a digital platform. I'm feeling a little emotional at what's just happened and the way we made it happen. A huge thank you to the project team. You rock! 💥 Jessica, Rebecca, Laurence, Alastair, Jules, Emma - and to Paddy for bringing our design ideas to life and Alison for keeping us entertained with gif lessons and hilarious posts about volunteering. One of the most important lessons I've learned over the years is not to journey alone. If you need help - ask for it. I knew from the last time I did this that I needed more expertise on hand. Leading a change project is psychology hard, emotionally draining and sometimes a bit lonely Thank you to our delivery partner Cocentric for being at our side all the way. Diana, Caleb, Stuart, Alastair - friendships have been forged over the last couple of months. And I can't not mention someone who's been by my side for many years, supporting and encouraging me in the background. Microsoft's one and only James Tyer - legend. Thank you.
