Fantastic showcase example of a distribution facility in Deventer Netherlands using 3 layer Colorcoat Prisma® pre-finished steel in Zeus and Ephyra. Supplied by our supply chain partner FALK Bouwsystemen this project demonstrates high aesthetics and sustainability at its core. The new distribution center covers an area of 77,000m2 on a 13-hectare site and sustainability requirements played a significant role in the design. The project achieved a BREEAM Excellent certificate and also delivers a great working environment. #builttolast #sustainability #distribution

You may remember we unveiled our new advertising campaign for Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra® last month, featuring iconic buildings like the Pier at Weston-Super-Mare, England. This project is a prime example of a real coastal environment where Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra® was selected for the Pavilion's external walls, chosen for its outstanding performance in harsh coastal environments. One of our Colorcoat® team members took the opportunity during their summer holiday to visit and capture recent photos of the Pavilion—still looking great after 14 years! Our biodiversity efforts continued this week as part of our ongoing sustainability commitment, with a bumblebee survey conducted by the Bumblebee Conservation Trust Multiple locations across the Shotton site were surveyed, and the findings revealed high population numbers, particularly around the Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Our grass cutting regime received praise, and the vibrant wildflowers on site were also acknowledged. An interesting takeaway from the survey was learning that male bees can't sting and that pollen can come in different colours—a fitting discovery for a site known for its wide range of coloured pre-finished steel! #biodiversity #shottonsustainability #sustainabilitycommitment #Colorcoat

What’s in a name!? Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra® is the result of nearly 60 years of continuous development, but many people are curious about the name's origin. The journey began with an early version called Colorcoat HP200®. In 1998, the product evolved into Colorcoat HPS200® with the introduction of the Scintilla® emboss, the Galvalloy® metallic coating, and an extended colour palette. The most recent generation of Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra® was launched in 2008, featuring advanced topcoat technology and a phthalate-free formulation. This version also introduced an extended Confidex® Guarantee of up to 40 years.
