Let's take a look at what our customers have been launching recently... 📍Covent Garden Conservation Area Audit: Everyone who lives around, works in or visits Covent Garden is welcome to take part in this project. The documents that the City of Westminster produces will outline the key characteristics of the area and will provide guidance on how Covent Garden should be managed, preserved and enhanced. 🔗https://hubs.ly/Q02Fym2z0 📍Local Places for Nature Carmarthenshire: Carmarthenshire County Council alongside a whole host of other organisations are working to protect and improve the local natural environment. This project contains a clean map for the whole of Carmarthenshire and one large survey that is asking people to share green places that are significant to them. So, how exactly did we measure our impact for our latest report? To start with, we worked with Imperial College to develop a theory of change model that describes the way that Commonplace’s activities change the world in which it exists. We’re extremely grateful to the Imperial College entrepreneurship team for their partnership. The model recognises that our biggest impacts are from from the outcomes of our customers’ projects: we identified the four highest impact outcomes, which are the ‘ultimate goals’ we influence. It's Friday which means we're highlighting another one of our customers! Today, it's all about Smart Docklands and their open call for Pilots! "This programme fast tracks innovation that addresses local and global challenges through collaboration, testing, learning, and education. The programme successfully facilitates and enables the testing and trialling of smart city solutions by identifying local challenges, shaping the future of cities. In 2024, this engagement and facilitation will continue with an open call for pilots from a €50k funding pool. The call seeks to support the development of impactful, scalable and sustainable pilots involving public bodies, private stakeholders, academia and local communities. The pilot proposals should be ready to deploy with service users, where appropriate, and should be in a position to measure impacts within a six-month timeframe."
