Our ‘One Coventry Values’ have been co-created with the support and input of all employees across the Council so they are reflective of how we want to be represented both as colleagues and to the wider community. We want to ensure there is clarity of purpose through the Council’s vision of our One Coventry Values and Behaviours; putting diversity and inclusion at the heart of everything we do. Moving forward the values will become an integral part of our: Reward Strategy, Appraisals, Recruitment, Attraction and Onboarding, Recognition and Development and Employee Engagement. Our values define us as an organisation and influence everything we do and how we treat each other. We recognise the crucial role each and every one of us plays in helping to achieve our goals. We want Coventry City Council to be an inclusive workplace where people know they are valued and feel empowered in their roles to achieve excellence for our customers and communities. We're delighted to have been nominated for a number of awards at Total Telecom's #ConnectedBritain awards 👏 The nominations are the result of the fantastic work by our digital inclusion programme #CovConnects! Since launching in 2022 the programme has: - Distributed 3000 devices to 100 #CovConnects partners in the city 💻 - Delivered over 500 hours of digital drop-in skills sessions 🗣 - Helped distribute 11,000 National Databank SIM cards across Good Things Hubs in Coventry 📱 - Supported the creation of 56 National Databank Hubs across the city 🖱 Partnership working is at the heart of the #CovConnects programme and none of its schemes would have been possible without the support of partners.

We’re helping Margaret, and thousands of others just like her, by installing a number of energy efficiency improvements to her home. Thanks to ECO4 funding, and alongside our Strategic Energy Partnership with Coventry City Council, we’re helping both residents and businesses on their journey to net zero.   #energyinfrastructuresolutions #energytransition #decarbonisation

Having a strong presence in the regions we operate in allows us to better understand the needs of our customers and communities.    This is why we’re pleased to have secured a deal with Coventry City Council; bringing 25 of our colleagues to occupy Two Friargate in the city centre. The team will work to deliver 13.5 million sq ft of modern, sustainable warehouse space across the West Midlands, expecting to bring in 14,000 new local jobs. Two Friargate is one of the region’s most sustainable office buildings, targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating, putting it amongst the top 10% of new buildings for sustainability. This aligns with our #ResponsibleSEGRO commitment to Champion low-carbon growth. We look forward to growing in the West Midlands from this fantastic new base.
