What is the point of a pie chart ? 😕 After spending a bit of time playing around with the data to show our monthly turnover over the last 5 months, the only thing we obtained was the hunger for a chicken balti pie, followed by a steak and ale pie. Clicking onto the next view – Donut. Hopes of seeing a selection of Greggs finest were crushed by another pointless chart showing an infusion of techno colours from a sock draw, mixed with the light show from a 1990s rave event. Moving swiftly onwards, we found the chart view which shows we knocked in £51,000,000 in monthly card turnover in July. Our transaction volume has been growing month on month by 15%, helped by smashing in record sales volume – 724 sales for July. Our company wide summer conference is scheduled for later this week where we will celebrate all of our successes as a team, and start to reveal what we have lined up for ‘CreatePay v2.0’. Where is everyone watching the game on Sunday ? 😀 After a record breaking 6 weeks on sales volume and card turnover, we announced our winners for the Euro final tickets trip to Berlin. Massive congratulations to Hollie Cruse Kyle Chandler Harish Kalyan Mike Evans There were tears and a David Brent dance when the winners were announced. The team will be jetting off on Sunday morning to Berlin and returning on Monday evening. As well as seeing the game, the winners will have plenty of time to visit the art galleries and museums in Berlin, as well as participate in a pottery painting class and maybe some poetry reading. We have had several questions from externals as to if our exec team will be going, how we can afford the tickets and will we sell tickets and travel package on. 1) None of our exec team are going. This is for our brilliant team. We are a people first company. 2) We have no external investors and are profitable. 3) Our CEO turned down a £40K offer for the tickets and travel package on Thursday morning. ‘Are you going to Money 2020 this week ?’ ‘Nope – I spent the budget on 4 X football tickets to the Euro 2024 final in Berlin instead.’ 😯 Whilst this is the kind of response which could you get sacked in most organisations or an investigation by the expense police, not at CreatePay. After deciding we will use the money for something else, we have been locked away brainstorming several ideas for a staff incentive. After much deliberation, we settled on Euro 2024 final tickets and ruled out the following; ·      Turkey teeth / hair transplant incentive – new set of teeth and full mop of hair for the lucky winners. ·      2,654 sambuca shots. ·      With election fever sweeping the country, donate the money to Count Binface in his bid to become Prime Minister. As well as tickets to the final, the lucky 4 winners will have their flights, accommodation as well as spending money paid for, which they will no doubt use on visits to museums and local art galleries. Has it been a year already ? We have been officially trading for 1 year 🎂. Our first customer signed was a coffee shop in Leigh on Sea, Essex. At the end of May 2023, we had the following: ·       No office ·       No back-end infrastructure. ·       No staff. ·       No website. ·       An action list and project plan which stretched from Essex to Milton Keynes. Fast forward 12 months and we now have the following; ·       41 seat office in Milton Keynes. ·       Full back-end infrastructure, including integrated telephony, dialler and CRM. ·       85 rock star staff. ·       Our own IT infrastructure ·       Profitable since January (yay !) ·       3,583 customers boarded. ·       £132m of card turnover processed – current run rate of £35m per month with forecast growth to £75m per month by the end of the year.
